Ch. 9

"TESSA NO!",I screamed as she bolted towards Emily who had a small smirk on her face. Suddenly as if out of thine air a dagger like silver sword appeared in her right hand turning Emily's smirk into a horrified look.  She quickly swung her dagger only managing to cut a little bit of her right arm. But instead of blood a beam of white light came from her wound. "You fucking angel,"she screamed as she pulled out a small scythe from inside her sweater and went at her. But as Tessa tried to quickly dodged her attack Emily managed to cut part of her thigh. Tessa stumble back hitting the window causing it to crack.

That's when Emily turned towards her eye ignited as she came at me scythe in hand and a blood thirsty simile as if to say time to die. That's when time felt like it was going to slow motion. Is this it, I though, am I really gonna die here and now. She was inches away from me now. I guess I am. That's when Dean rushed in front of me catching her scythe with a broom. "Cutting it a little close there Dean", I said. "Well excuse me princess",he grunted as he managed to push Emily away before she cut though the broom with her scythe.

She grab Dean by the neck picking him up like it was nothing and throwing him violently against wall knocking him out. "Now then",she said with a sinister laugh as she turned to Tessa. She broke off one of the metal legs of the hospital bed a stabbed it though Tessa pining her down. As the screams escaped Tessa as Emily started to laughed uncontrollably at her. "I always hated you angels thinking you were better than us but seeing you like this hearing your screams I see now that your no devine being... But your more like a rat caught in a trap begging me to end your suffering you pathetic",she snarled as she watched Tessa try to remove the piece of metal that was pining her to the ground threw her right side.

I got up slowly in hopes to bye some time for Tessa while Emily's focus was on her. Then I felt a force throw me back and up against the wall. "What the hell...why can't I move",I gasped. As I felt something coil around my neck squeezing tighter and tighter till I couldn't breathe. "I'll deal with you a little later Mel",she called in a cheerful tone. Emily turned back at Tessa with a crazed look,"you know torturing you would be fun but I think I like the idea of killing your friend first then you". Tessa's expression changed from absolute pain to terror. "No you...you...can't",she said desperately. "Oh yes I can",she said psychotically. "End of the line for you angel",she shouted.

"And for you too",Tessa shouted as she grabbed the knife and Emily and then stabbing herself. Then her and Emily were swallowed in a bright white light. I fell to the floor went the restraint were released. I'm free....but how? The light had disappeared along with Emily and Tessa. Tessa had sacrificed herself to defeat Emily and keep us safe. Suddenly I felt a burning pain on my lower right sighed. That's when I noticed my hands...they were covered in blood. That's when the room started to spin then everything went black.

"Melody...MELODY....don't be dead....oh please don't be dead." I opened my eyes slowly as pain consumed my body. Dean was hovering over me pressing something against my wound. "And hello to you to Dean ",I said softly. "Melody thank god your alive",he said relieved. "So what..what happened to me?"I asked as I slowly tried to get up and on my own feet.
"You bled out dumb ass you could have died", he shouted sounding like a dad scolding his teenage daughter.

"Well I'm sorry at least I lasted longer against the reaper",I retorted. "That doesn't matter just think about what would've happened if I wasn't here...you'd be dead right now"
"So what now your saying I'm weak that...that I'm not capable of dealing with these monsters on my own",I argued. "No....its just that...your part of this family and I don't wanna lose you or Griffen",he shouted he had tears in his eyes,"I just can't lose you guys"

Then I realized,"GRIFFEN",I shouted,"we have to hurry come on",I said quickly trying to ignore the pain come from my side as I ran down seven filets of stairs Dean running close behind me. "Oh Griffen please be alright please be at the motel eating pizza on the moldy old couch watching tv just please don't be...

I ran out of the car when we arrived leaving a trail of blood behind me. But I didn't care. Please don't be to late please don't be...
I burst opened the door
...to late.
