chapter 2: the lost king

Farry wakes up from her slumber to see Julias and A women she doesn't know eating, she Jumps up and cautiously heads to the door slightly opening she hears a loud strong female yell "Hey stop! Where do you think you're going without eating?" Ailith yells and laughs after with Julias "you should join us, Ailith may be loud but she was a chef" said Julias "was?!" yelled Ailith "is! Is an amazing chef! Sorry sister" he replied with a chuckle in his voice "that's what I thought brother" she replied as well with a chuckle. "oh I'm sorry I thought I'd been kidnapped or something" replied Farry "kidnapped .. I completely forgot... the king he's been kidnapped" said Julias to himself.

"Sister, I need you to watch over Farry for me, I have some things I need to do." Julias said "things you need to do? Julias you just got here shouldn't you rest?" said Ailith "I agree with her Julias, you're not in the best condition" said Farry worriedly. "I'll be okay, I'll make it to the enemies kingdom and keep an ear out for word on him" replied Julius determined on going "But you won't-" Ailith cuts Farry off before she could finish "don't try to stop him, he always finds a way" "alright but at least take that horse with you, he's outside the medical area" replied Farry as Julias smiles and hugs both of them before leaving "I'll see you both again, if not in this world then another" he said as jogging out the door towards the medical bay.

Finally reaching his horse he pets it on the head "ready to go boy?" he said as he hopped on his back and galloped out the main front gates as the sun rises behind the walls passing the river then heading passed fields and mountains, it was a two day trip with no wait five with a nights rest and six to stop and eat, it took Julias 4 days to arrive at the gates, shrouded in a dark hood they opened the gates for him

Entering cautiously on his horse, everyone staring at him as if he was some evil creature on a horse galloping slowly towards the castle grounds.

Stopped by the guards and asked to lower his hood he begins getting off the horse and lowering his hood "hello I'm Julias, I mean no harm In just a little lost." said Julias acting as a traveler "I'm looking for a tavern; a place to lie down for a little", "there is an inn down the road and to the east it's hard to miss" said the guard blocking his way to the castle ground. "thank you" Julius said walking back the way he came."I could come back at night, it'll be good to get some rest and the guard won't be so heavy" Julius thought to himself as he walked towards the inn

Just as he said that he heard loud music and saw pints of wines and rums sitting at a bar with the band next to it "hm doesn't seem bad" entering the inn he sees a sign (the last dwarf) it said Julias approached the sign to soon get tackled by a strong short man "and who are you?" said the short figure with a heavy Scottish accent "I'm Julias, who are you?" replied Julias curiously "I'm Hasok Grandol lad! Have you not heard of me? The last dwarf! I'm kind of famous" said Hasok loudly and proudly "I never heard of you Hasok" replied Julias "I'm more of a local celebrity" said Hasok "local?" replied Julias confusedly "ay born here and raised 'ere" said Hasok with a low tone "you don't seem to happy about it" said Julias "that noticeable huh? Yeah I don't want to be here. You're a traveler yeah?" asked hasok "yes I am I won't be here for more then a week" replied Julias "would you be willing to take a dwarf with you? I know it's a burden and we just met, but I need to get out of here" said Hasok "Hasok I have my own quests to get done with, but if you must I will take you out of here" Julias could barely finish the sentence before the dwarf jumped and hugged him "Thank you thank you so much" he said inbetween kissing on his cheeks "I will be here in this inn for you to pick me up before you leave" said Hasok "wait Hasok before you go, do you know anything about a kidnapped king?" asked Julias. Hasok stayed quiet and led Julias to his room. "yes I have but don't go saying stuff like that in front of everyone, we don't want no civilians knowing we're at war yeah?, the guards say he was left in a cave near here not to far to the west, why do you ask?" asked Hasok whispering everything he said. "Hasok I come from the kingdom the guards here have slain, the city is destroyed and bodies litter the floor, come with me to this cave last dwarf, help me restore the land and we will be aiding each other" replied Julias. Hasok sat quietly for a little "get some rest use my bed tonight, I'll tell you when you wake up" said Hasok "thank you Hasok, I can't repay you enough" said Julias. "you already are" said Hasok.
