I dodged and within a split second, slammed my hand down on the back of his neck. He fell down to the floor but was back within a few seconds.
“Wow Mary,” He went for a stomach punch but I dodged it. “What you get done for then? Domestic abuse?”
“No,” I corrected, as I tried to kick him in the nuts, but he just dodged it, making his way towards me. “That was you.” I punched him in the stomach, and got him good with a kick to the head. He grabbed my waist and slammed me into the ground. I kneed him in the stomach, the same place as I’d punched a few seconds ago.
“How long do we have Emmett?” He ordered Blondie.
“Three and a half minutes left.”
“Time flies when you’re having fun doesn’t it Connor?” I asked sarcastically, and got up while his back was turned. I jumped onto his back, slamming him into the lockers repeatedly for a minute before he threw me off. I skidded across the floor and before I could get up and had pinned my legs down and crossed my arms across my body. He ran one hand through my hair, in what would usually be known as a caress, but in the eyes of a psycho was a gesture to show he had complete control, even from the beginning. He lowered his lips to mine as I tried to move my head to the side. He just used his free hand to pull my head forward and then bit down on my bottom lip, letting blood spill into my mouth. He let go and I spat out the blood.
“How long?”
“You had seven seconds left.” Emmett replied as Charlie stared at me, trying to get out of his grip, which he failed.
“Aww.” Connor pouted. “I wanted it too be like, one second left. Might have made Mary feel better.”
“Get the hell of me.” I snarled. “And leave Charlie alone.”
“I almost forgot about him.” Connor grinned, shaking his head too get the hair out of it. He got up and walked over to Charlie, who had closed his eyes.
“Open up your eyes kid.” Connor glared, slapping him across the face. I tried to get up, really I did, but my head was spinning like hell.
Charlie opened his eyes, showing a death glare.
“Now.” Connor smiled at him. “What do you think I’m going to do to you?”
“Let me go?” Charlie smiled.
“Wrong answer.” Connor slammed a fist into Charlie’s stomach which mad e him buckle backwards as Emmett held him upright. He punched him repeatedly and then turned to Emmett. “Let the freak go.” Charlie was dropped to the floor gasping and clutching his stomach. “See you later weirdo.” Connor walked away as Emmett kicked him, hard in the side and then ran to catch up with Connor, highfiving him as Charlie and I lay on the floor, trying to regain conciousness.
When I woke up I found myself being carried.
And not over-the-shoulder-kidnapping kind of carrying, I was being carried bridal style. I couldn’t see who was carrying me, but I could tell it was a girl since I could feel her boobs against my waist.
I opened my eyes drowsily and looked up and saw a girl with ginger hair and freckles.
“Whats going on.”
“My one’s awake.” I heard her call. A boyish voice replied to her.
“Then just put her down when we get there May.” The boy replied.
They walked for a couple more minutes and then I was placed on my feet and I found myself in front of a door. The corridor was dark, like it was a forgotten building or something. I knocked at the door and heard a deep ‘come in’, come from the inside.
I went in and saw a boy about six foot with dark, shoulder length hair and a tattoo of a star on his wrist was inside.
He looked up. “I’m hoping you’re Mary.”
“No.” I glared at the floor. “My name is Haley.”
“Your still the new kid right?” He still didn’t look up from his laptop.
“Yeah.” I replied. “I am.”
He snapped the laptop shut and got up and looked at me. He spun his finger in a circle, geusturing for me too turn around in a circle. I gave him a look, and was about to tell him where too go, when I remembered what happened last time I was rude to a gang leader, ‘cos that’s who this guy was. Red. I turned around slowly until I was facing him again.
“Ok.” He looked me up and down and crossed his arms. “What are you in for then?”
“Shouldn’t you know that?” I asked, crossing my arms.
“All the hackers are on Blue’s team.” Red said. “We mostly have the fighters, we only have one hacker, but she’s been put on a electronic tag since she opened up the doors to the jail and tried to run. So I need you too tell me.”
“I didn’t do anything.”
“That’s very obviously a whole load of bull.” Red raised an eyebrow. “So why won’t you tell me?”
“I didn’t do anything.” I repeated again, clenching my fists, a little act that Red saw and sighed.
“You’re still a kid Haley,” Red shrugged. “Mentally anyway. Here, you are starting only just too realize this place. I hate too be the one to break the truth too you, but half the people here have put people into hospital. More than half of them are guys, and about one in three of them, have killed someone. That makes about three hundred people here have murdered people. And about 100% of the people you meet here, will hold a grudge until the two of you get out of here, and they can get their hands on a wepon. The people you meet here, can change your life forever, you can’t run away from it.”
“I’m not scared of the people here.” I snapped and Red took a few steps forward, I took a few back and collided with a wall. He put a hand on either side of my waist, pushing his body against mine, so our noses where nearly touching.
“Are you scared of Blue Haley?” He asked, his brown eyes probing mine, mere millimeters away.
“N-no.” I swallowed.
“Are you sure?” Red asked, sounding gentler this time. “Because we can protect you from him, at the moment the only person your hurting is yourself and Charlie. Charlie’s only going to get hurt protecting you, you realize that don’t you?”
“Let me out.” I said, my voice shaking. Red didn’t move, just kept on examining my eyes. “Let me out!” Red took a step back and raised his hands and geustured to the door.
“Just keep that in mind Haley!” Red called after me as I walked down the corridor too where I saw Charlie leaning against the wall. “You can come and find me when you change your mind!”
Charlie glared at him, wrapping his arm around my waist and supported most of my weight, so when I heard the door click shut, I was able to take weight off my ankle and lean on him.
“What happened?” Charlie frowned.
I sighed. “Found out the truth.”
