Zack kept hold of my arm as he pulled me down the corridors and when we got to the end he shoved me inside.

Inside was a boy with short ruffled brown hair and a lean strong body. He was sitting on a table with his feet on a chair. He smiled and gestured to the chair oppsiste him.

I paused and then walked over to the chair and sat down, not liking the way he was looking down at me.

"Haley Sheilds," He smiled. "You have a decision to make."

I looked up at him and swallowed. "I'm not joining."

"Joining what?" He replied.

"Your gang." I fiddled with my bracelet awkwardly. "I gathered there are two different gangs, one that's run by some guy called 'Red' and I'm guessing you run the other."

"My name is Blue."

"Red and Blue?" I raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Yes." He replied and he stopped talking. When I looked up again I saw he was holding a flick knife between his fingers, spinning it, so the blade caught the light. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"No." I stammered, my eyes not leaving the knife between his fingertips. "Not at all."

Blue smiled and jumped off the table, landing in front of me. He crouched down and I felt his cold fingers take hold of my chin, forcing me too look up at him.

I looked up and met his brown eyes. He was about eighteen, so older, taller, stronger and more powerful than me and there wasn't anything I could do to fight him.

"Haley," He said to me calmly. "You haven't been here long, so you really don't understand the thing about this place. If your part of one of the gangs, your enemies of both of them. If you join us, you'll be protected and safe from anything that comes your way."

"No!" I yelled, breaking out of his grip and shoving him away. He looked stunned that I'd just done that too him and I darted towards the door. Before I could get there a boy with shaggy black hair and a lip ring had grabbed me from behind, hooking his arms under mine and pulling up, forcing my arms up and I wasn't able to break his grip, no matter how much I hard I struggled and kicked out at him.

Blue walked back up too me with cold eyes and he had put the flick knife in his pocket. "Babe, that wasn't the smartest thing you've ever done." He told me. "I'm going to let you find out exactly what happens to people who mess with me. Your not going to excepted into this gang for at least two months, and then you'll realize how much you'll need us."  Before I could realize it, his tanned hand slammed into my stomach and I yelled out.

"Starting now." Blue said. "Let her go Darren." The boy released my arms and I fell to the floor, holding my stomach. "Have a good day Haley." He smiled, and kicked me in the shoulder blade and left the room.

I was left on the floor, groaning, holding my stomach. A few minutes later a boy came into the room with a shocked expression on his face.

"What the hell happened to you?" He asked, coming up too me and hooking a arm around my waist and lifted me up. He had brown shaggy hair and a lip piercing.

"I'm Charlie," He told me, supporting my weight easily and began carrying down the corridor. "I'm guessing you've met Blue?"

"Little bit." I groaned as the movement hurt my stomach. "I'm Haley."

"I guessed." He replied smirking. "blonde hair, looks like a twelve year old, cute."

"I think that's the nicest insult I've had all day." I retorted.

"Your welcome!" He smiled. Charlie kicked the door open and brought me into a nurses office. The woman at the desk had mixed race skin and short black hair.

"Fourth of the day." She groaned. "And its only half past one."

"Sorry JJ," Charlie apologized. "Not my fault it was -"

"Honey, if you say Blue, you realize I'll have to tell him that right?"

"...Not Blue?" I realized the gangs weren't just the students, but the teachers too.

"There we go baby." She helped me onto a table and lifted my shirt and looked at the big bruise forming on my stomach. She pulled a support bandage over my head and it settled over my stomach, making it feel better. "There we go babe." She told me, patting me on the back. "Go have lunch and then go to class. See you later Charlie." JJ said before going into the office, to make up some paperwork.

"Come on Haley." Charlie was leaning on the door and was filing his nails. I gave him a look and followed him down the corridor.

The boy who'd been so rude to Alice was standing by the door with a blonde, curly haired guy beside him.

"Oi!" He yelled at me. I ignored him, walking straight past, but I felt him grab my shoulder and shove me back into the lockers. "I was talking to you Mary!'

"And why're you calling me Mary?!" I snarled, trying to move away, but by this time I was trapped between him and the blonde guy.

"The Virgin Mary genius," The boy behind me laughed.

"Good one Connor," The boy behind smirked and Connor shook his hair out of his face, grinning.

"What do you want?" I asked, loosing my Patience.

"Who'd you choose?" Connor asked, raising his eyebrow. "Them or us?"

"I chose to shove him across the room and get punched in the stomach." I replied coldly. "We done yet, 'cos I'm hungry and unless you have a sandwich shoved up that massive butt of yours, you better get out of my way."

The next thing I realize is that Charlie's standing in front of me and has socked Connor straight in the face. He swore loudly and bent over, stemming the blood flow with his hand.

"Fucking shit!" He yelled as Charlie was grabbed by Blondie. The blood stopped flowing and he wiped it away with his forearm, leaving a long trail of bright red blood down his arm.

Connor turned around and smirked at Charlie who was struggling against Blondie

"Well?" I snarled.

"Mary, I'm going to make a deal with you." Connor smiled. "If you can keep me off your lips for the next ten minutes, I won't hurt your boyfriend here."

"What the hell?!" I yelled. "Are you some kind of sicko?!"

"Don't worry then." Connor turned back, cracked his knuckes and made his way over to Blondie and Charlie.

"No!" Connor paused and turned back, smirking. "I'll do it."

"Good Mary." He smiled and rolled up his sleeves. "Lets start then." Then he lunged at me.
