Beep! Beep! Beep!
I woke up, by the sound of my alarm clock.
Stupid alarm.
I groaned, and slammed my alarm, to stop it from making that annoying noise.
I slowly sat up, and looked at Maddie, who was sleeping on the sofa bed, on the other side of my room, curled up in a ball underneath her blankets. She looked dead.
Is she even alive?
I got out of bed, and walked over to Maddie, and gently shook her. Maddie groaned.
"Go away." She croaked, and a hand appeared pointing at the door.
"Maddie we need to get ready for school." I whispered, Maddie was the only person who I talked to, and who knew, except for my parents, that I could talk.
Slowly her head came out of the blankets. "Nuuuu!" She cried. "Please Mads, I don't want to go through this again." "5 more minutes."
"I warned you." I took a few steps back and ran over to Maddie and jumped on top of her, I started tickling her.
"Okay! Okay! Okay!" Maddie said between laughs. "I'm up! I'm up!" She pushed me off her.
"Go take a shower, I'll choose our outfits." Maddie said, and pointed at the bathroom door.
I grabbed some underwear, and walked to the bathroom.
"Okay, it better be fashionable." I joked. "Excuse you, do you even know who I am?" Maddie asked, trying to sound offended, I rolled my eyes and closed the bathroom door.
