Aiden's POV
I told the boys that we should get out of the car to get a better look and Cody and Thomas want to stay in the car.
Erin and I hide behind the brick wall, watching Gwen and a mysterious guy get in each other's personal space.
It makes me angry seeing him touch her face. She didn't look scared but it was still upsetting. Why did she even agree to do this anyway?
Erin tried to get a better look and tripped, letting out a small yelp. Before I could place my hand over his mouth, the guy was already squinting/glaring in our direction.
The last thing I heard was "Fuck, don't let them get away." We both took off sprinting.
"You go that way!" Erin pointed to the abandoned building.
I was slightly uncomfortable with splitting up because that never goes well in movies, but I didn't have time to think it over.
My feet continue to splash in puddles on the concrete. My heart pounding in my chest as I run into the empty building. I quickly try to catch my breath as I hide behind a pillar.
"I know you're in here, you little shit." I hear Gwen call out as the floorboards creak under her step.
"Come out, come out where ever you are." She teases like this is a twisted game.
I place my hand over my mouth to quiet my panicky breathing.
Does she even know it's me?
I hear a gun click and I wanted to cry.
Would she really try to kill me?
"You can't hide forever!"
Oh yes I can.
Just as I was about to look around the pillar, gunshots rang throughout the building.
I stick my back onto the dirty wall and my eyes start to blur with tears.
What happened to the funny girl that I met at the pond?
How did she turn into this blood thirsty monster?
This obviously isn't her first time holding a gun.
I wonder what other secrets this girl had?
"I found you." She hisses, sounding closer than before.
I make a run for it only to be stopped and pinned to the wall by a colorful knife in the hood of my jacket.
I try to unwedge the knife from my hood but it didn't work, I unzip the jacket and quickly start running again.
"Get back here!" Gunshot.
I keep running, never looking behind me, no matter how bad I wanted to.
I feel my arm get sliced as another colorful knife catches the arm of my shirt, slightly cutting my skin as it pins me to the wall for a second time.
I let out a small cry as I look to see blood start to stain the blue shirt.
"Caught you!" She chuckles, walking towards me. I lower my head so she can't see my face as it's covered by my curly hair, but I can still see her.
She finally reaches me and places yet another knife at my throat.
"Who are you and who the fuck sent you?" She squints to get a better look at me in the dark room.
I don't speak, afraid of being cut. I just slowly raise my head so my hair is out of my face as my body shakes in pure terror.
"A-aid-en?" She stutters, looking me in my eyes in horror, quickly dropping the knife, letting it hit the floor.
