Chapter 21

You felt something cold against your lips and you instantly opened your eyes. You tried to speak but you could only manage,
"Wha ris tha?" A look of puzzlement clouded your eyes as you couldn't speak properly.
"It's a spoon, I'm feeding you your favourite food (Y/N)!" Ryuuzaki laughed. "You are finally awake! I'm so glad, I was beginning to think we had lost you, but it was only a 1% chance because I knew you'd fight it!" He hugged you and grinned. You grinned back. You swallowed the food in your mouth.
"It's time for me to go now, I have to find my parents, they're probably worried about me! And they haven't met you yet!" You tried to move but you felt like you were pinned to the bed.
"What's happening Ryuuzaki?"
"Listen, (Y/N). When the door fell on top of you, do you remember that?"
"Y-yes..."
"Well, the doornob hit you on the back of the head and it hit a vital nerve. That nerve controls the movement of your limbs. And unfortunately as a result of that, you ended up well, paralysed."
"What? How am I speaking then?"
"It's from the shoulders down, so you can't walk, move but you can talk and move your head." All of a sudden you burst into tears.
"Y-you will l-look after me, r-right? Please? Your the only person I want to do it, I would be embarrassed if anyone else did it."
"Of course, I wouldn't let anyone else do it, (Y/N)."
"Thankyou! I wish I could hug you right now!"
"I'll do it for you!" He picked up your arms and manoeuvered them into a hugging position, but as soon as he let go to hug you back, your arms fell away again, limp and lifeless.
"Thankyou Lawliet." You whispered in his ears and kissed his cheek.
