Chapter 22

The next morning, you woke up to feel your bed moving.
"Ryuuzaki, where are we going?"
"I'm just trying to pick you up to give you a bath, and I can't get around your bed properly so I moved it."
"Oh ok."
"Mmrfh..." He grunted as he shifted the bed a bit more.
"I wish I could help..." You frowned. "It isn't very entertaining just laying here not moving."
"I'll take you out then!"
"Wh-what?"
"I'll take you out, o-on date..."
"I-I look forward to it!" You smiled weakly.
"Well, time for that bath!" He laughed and picked you up.
"Am I heavy?" You queried.
"No, you're actually lighter that I thought." He said and lifted you up and down, testing your weight.
"That's ok then!"

When you got to the bathroom, Ryuuzaki put you down on a chair and turned the taps on. He undressed you and then put you in the bath, making sure to clean you well. He washed all of the dried blood away from the back of your head, after he took the bandage off, and made sure to be extra careful when going near your wounds.
"Right, we're done!" He smiled and picked you up, supporting your head and legs. He lay you down on a table and began dressing you again. All of the time he was doing this, he was acting very nervously. It was probably because you were naked and he was washing you, everywhere.
"Was that a bit... Embarrassing for you?"
"Yes... But we'll get used to it... R-right?"
"I suppose so...?"
"Yes, after all, you are my boyfriend, y-you don't mind, yes...?"
"Y-yes..." He picked you up and began walking back down the corridor.
"Do you honestly think you can look after me all on your own? Are you sure it's not too much trouble?"
"(Y/N), you know I love you, and you know that I would do anything for you. Even if I had to sacrifice my life for you, I would instantly do it, if it meant that you would live in peace and happiness."
"But... But I can't live in peace and happiness w-with out you, Ryuuzaki... If you died, I wouldn't live in peace and happiness, I would live in sadness and mourning. You are the only boyfriend I've ever had, and you're the best one ever... Oh, and one more thing..."
"Yes?"
"Can I work on cases with you? You know like, to pass the time? I always wanted to be a detective, and the best part is, I will be with you."
"(Y/N), I couldn't have asked for anything better to happen, Thankyou." He kissed you on the nose and you blushed. He lay you back down on the bed and stroked your hair.
"You're welcome Ryuuzaki..."
