I pulled up to the address Dr. Styles had sent me in my 2003 toyota. The car was a shit box. The passengers side had lost its side view mirror and the back left door's handle had fallen off. The front right light of the car was smashed in and didn't turn on. But my parents wouldn't buy me a new car.

The house was massive. The houses on either side of it were just as large. It was like a normal town's street but on steroids.  I checked my makeup in the rearview mirror once more before taking my keys out of the car and throwing my pocket book over my shoulder.

I walked up the long walkway, going over the things I had planned to say. When I arrived at the door, I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. A tall thin woman opened the door and looked at me with a scowl.

"She's here!" the woman screamed into the house, then she promptly walked away from the door and left it open. Not knowing what to do, I kept my place on the porch. A minute later, a tall muscular man appeared at the door. He was stunning. I had to keep my jaw from dropping.

"I'm sorry about that." He said, his british accent was raspy. "She's.....difficult. You must be Samantha." he held out his hand. I took it in my and shook.

"Sam." I said. "Nice to meet you. You have a lovely home." I said as I adjusted my bad on my shoulder. Suddenly my jeans and sweater outfit looked extremely inappropriate compared to the man's Versace suit.

"Come on in. The kids are in the playroom. We'll go into the living room to talk." I entered the foyer cautiously. I think he could sense my nerves, he placed a hand on my back and led me too the living room. The room was bigger than the whole first floor of my house, complete with a chandelier and leather couches. Mr. Styles motioned to one of the couches and sat across from it.  I took a seat.

"Melanie! Get down here!"  Harry shouted into the house, his voice echoed because of its vast size. Then, I heard the click click click of high heels tapping down a hallway. The tall lady who had screamed in my face appeared again. She moved past me and sat down next to her husband. She laid her hand on his upper thigh protectively. He shifted uncomfortably and cleared his throat.

"So, how long have you been babysitting?" Mr.Styles asked, opening up a notebook and uncapping a pen.

"I started babysitting when I was 13 so that's 5 years now. I'm CPR certified and I was a nanny for a summer when I was 16 and I volunteered at a day care near home for my community service." I said, mentally going though my accomplishments.

"That's very impressive. Have you been in any car accidents?" He said, scribbling something down on the pad.

"About a month ago, a drunk driver crashed into my car." I said, recalling the terrifying night. Mrs. Styles groaned.

"Wow. Were you hurt?" Mr.Styles said, putting down his pen and looking up at me.

"Well I got a concussion and a bad cut on my head." I pulled back my hair so the scar above my ear was visible. "But I was ok. I got out lucky. My brother didn't. He's got something wrong with his heart and his brain now. He's actually- he's in a coma." I rubbed my hands on my jeans.

"Sam, I'm so sorry. That's terrible. I'm so sorry." Mr. Styles said, reaching over to me and grabbing my hand.

"Thank you." I whispered. He took his hand away.

"Ok enough of the sob story! Let's get to the important things!" Mrs. Styles said. Harry scowled at her.

"No, it's ok, she's right." I said. I shifted my position. "I would love to be the nanny of your children. I will care for them, I will teach them, I will scold them when needed, and I will be there for them. I believe that imagination is an essential part of a child's development, therefore I will encourage them to use their own. I will encourage them to stand up for themselves. I will tell them that they can accomplish what they want if they try their best. I will show them how music is the most magical thing in the world. I will teach them that manners are not a choice, they are a necessity. I will be their best friend but I will also be a figure that deserves and demands respect. That is what I will bring to the table." When I looked up, i was met with two different reactions. Mrs. Styles was looking at me like I had just cracked her finest china, and Mr. Styles was looking at me as if I had told him that magic was real.

"You're hired." Mr.Styles said. I was filled with shock.

"Harry!" Mrs. Styles protested, but 'Harry' wouldn't have it.

"Melanie, do not argue with me." He then got up from his seat. "Jake! Bring Darcy into the living room for a minute please love!" Mr.Styles shouted into the vast house. Not long after, a small boy entered the room with a little girl waddling behind. The boy was wearing a superman t-shirt, underwear, two different colored socks, goggles, and tied around his neck was a silk pillow case.

"Jake to the rescue!" He said when he entered the room. He was adorable. At least I thought so, Mrs. Styles seemed to think otherwise.

"Jake! How many times must I tell you to keep you grimy hands OFF of my silk pillow cases? You germ infested little boy!" The woman got up from the couch and untied the pillowcase from the small boys neck. She walked away so briskly that the baby got confused and fell over, but giggled it off and crawled to her father, who picked her up. The boy pulled off his goggles and began to cry. Mr.Styles moved to comfort him, but I arrived first.

"You're a superhero?" I asked, pretending to be starstruck. The boy sniffled and nodded. "I've never met a superhero before." I continue, crouching down to his level.

"Now you have." He said, smiling a little. I pulled a pen and some paper out of my purse.

"Can I have your autograph?" I asked handing him the paper and pen. The boy giggled and wrote 'JAKE' on the paper with the J facing the wrong way. "You save so many people! How can we ever thank you?" I asked. Jake handed me back the paper and rubbed his nose.

"All in a day's work, ma'am. It's what I do." He said, putting his hands on his hips.

"Well you must let me thank you some way!" I teased. Jake swayed as he thought.

"I'd gladly accept a cookie and some milk after my hard day's work." I laughed and looked up at Mr. Styles, who nodded.

"Can you show me to the kitchen?" I asked. Jake took my hand and led me.

I held Darcy as Mr.Styles and Jake had their cookies. She was such a happy baby. Everything she did made me smile. She was holding onto my finger when Mr.Styles came up to me.

"You're amazing with them." He said, pulling Darcy into his arms. "I'm so happy you'll do this. You're amazing." I blushed.

"Thank you for hiring me." I grabbed my bag and walked with Darcy and Mr.Styles to the front door. "I'll see you tomorrow night at 6." Mr. Styles nodded.

"Thank you, Sam." He said. I nodded and walked down the path to my car. I got in the shit box and backed out of the driveway. Mr.Styles and Darcy waved from the door.

When I got home, I pulled some old white pillow cases out of my drawer. Then, I grabbed my felt markers and doodled a huge 'J' on each one, with a bunch of superhero designs. After that, I sewed velcro on the two ends so Jake wouldn't have to tie the pillow case to his neck. I looked at the capes and thought of the day. And I smiled.
