I stared out the train window, seeing the landscape go by in flashes and blurs of green, gray, and blue.
When the portal from the Triplicity opened, we ended up in Boston. From the packs that Chloe gave us, we had enough for three tickets with complementary drinks plus money leftover. I'm not really sure why drinks were that necessary, but Djal insisted. I guess he really likes orange juice.
We would be aboard the train for two hours and thirty minutes in Djal and Spencer had passed out.
At least with the tranquil atmosphere, I could have some time to myself and think.
I sat in my chair with one foot up, so I could finger the charm of the anklet communication device.
I didn't tell Chloe this, but I might have...smuggled a book from the Triplicity Library. That's where I was before I visited Spencer in the infirmary.
It didn't have a blurb on the back cover or anything. Actually to be honest it doesn't look like anything special. Worn leather and gold lettering. It looked like your typical mystical book in every other fantasy story. But when I had quickly skimmed through it, it showed pictures and descriptions of the zodiac signs, stars and constellations.
I flipped over the the table of contents and found "Cancer" ...............................page 69
I know what you're thinking. Get those dirty thoughts out of your head.
I guess that was a joke by the anonymous author, Since the astrological sign for Cancer looks like a 69 flipped sideways.

Cancer is the fourth astrological sign, which is associated with the constellation Cancer. The symbol of the crab is based on the Karkinos, a giant crab that Heracles fought during his battle with the Hydra.
Alongside Scorpio and Pieces, Cancer is a part of the Water Trigon. It's said that Cancer is to be under the house of Neptune and the exaltation of Jupiter, both astronomical bodies having influence over those born under Cancer.
Cancers are said to be people of sensation and feeling. They tend to go by their own intuition as opposed to reasonable advice. They can be emotional but are usually very caring.
