"What could this mean?" Daniel asked.

"Gee, let's consider out possibilities! Ophiuchus used someone's communication device to contact us. According to him, only two of three that left for Maine is with them also. Oh and we haven't had any contact with any of them ever since they left for Maine. What could have happened, huh?" I said frustrated.

"Kaia, cut them some slack, I think everyone's a little flustered right now," Chase said.

"What concerns me the most is that," Agnes paused,"Ophiuchus said two of our friends. So one of them must've escaped or-"

That thought left a cold chill in the room.

"Well, looking on the bright side," Aimee proposed,"Let's say someone did escape. Ophiuchus had to be using one of the kidnaps communication devices. Most likely he would've confiscated both of them. SO whoever actually answers, escaped."

"Shall we move to a more comfortable area? Aka not a foul-smelling arena?" Chase suggested.

Chase, Chloe, and I lead the remaining six to the Triplicity Library. The dome ceiling shined with the constellations of the night sky decorated around it. A miniature globe hung in the center, representing Earth, rotating at the real speed Earth was rotating. A circular table had been placed underneath, twelve elegant rolling chairs, each decorated with a sign's astrological symbol. And of course, hundreds of books lined the shelves, reaching the ceiling.

As we were walking, I pulled Chloe aside from the group,"you okay?"

I'd noticed ever since the message from Ophiuchus, Chloe became oddly quiet. Her normally bright blue eyes dimmed, now shining with melancholy, determination, and familiarity.

"I'll tell everyone later,"she whispered.

The group started to file in, some gasping at the sight of the library, others simply finding a seat.

"Alright," Chase remained standing, assuming the position of the leader as Chloe slumped downward in her chair,"let's try and organize our thoughts."

Everyone started to talk at once, chatter overlapping each other, creating a hum in the room. Chase spread his arms out,"one at a time, please. Diana, do you have anything to share?"

The Aries glanced up and spoke in a booming voice,"I think we should try and contact Olivia, Djal or Spencer. I agree with what Aimee said before. One of them must be out there rouge or...you know."

Mutters of agreement came from everyone,"I'll try," I announced, reaching to unclasp my choker and placed it on the table. I tapped the silver charm strung onto it, bringing up the menu of the com devices.

"Who should we call first?" Ezra asked.

"Does it matter?" Agnes retorted. Rolling my eyes, I decided on Virgo, expecting to see Djal's face.

Instead, ear-piercing static played causing everyone to jump.

"Well, I guess that's our answer-"I started.

"Sir, are you sure this is the wisest decision to do?"

Daniel started,"What the f-"

"Language," Aimee responded.

"Absolutely. I gain their trust, then I can destroy the 12 from the inside," a voice I recognized as Ophiuchus responded.
