I'm considering completely rewriting this story. That would include removing some characters, and changing a bunch of things, with the goal of improving this story. Ruby would still be Ruby, but hopefully would be a more developed/realistic character, and hopefully in a couple more years, I won't be cringing as much as I am now, reading back through this. I'd also change the cover because it's terribly edited and the photo doesn't even look like how I imagined Ruby. I don't know why I chose that photo. Is anyone still reading this? Would anybody be interested in that? Please comment and let me know
