By the point we got to the top of the stairs I knew not only was my life in danger but so was my unborn child's .
He threw me into the coffee table I had in my room smashing it upon impact

I was in tears my back hurt it hurt like hell I laid there in the debris of what used to be my table and in that split hair fraction of blinking he raised his fist. Lip was now bruising, now a black eye.

My lip was now busted a deep gash in which needed stitching. A cut right above eyebrow. He didn't stop at punching he was over the point of trying to compromise or even trying to talk to. But then what made me dear life itself for my child is when it only took one kick in my abdomen for me to cough up blood. He picked up the vase holding the flowers my father gave me last week and brought it down with force the last thing I remember before falling into darkness was strawberry blonde red hair and a cackling laugh.
