It's been 3 months since we were poured on in the parking lot but kissed anyway. I have been happy. But I know I want to start a YouTube channel. I have plenty of friends to show me how. Maybe I could be apart of the business. I could get a full time job over the summer where Max works. My parents shouldn't mind, right? My parents. I haven't told them. Shit. What are they going to say? He is 3 years older than me. I guess I should tell my parents. Today was the last day of my job since I planned to quit. The coworker that smokes tried to seduce me so now if they can't fire him then I was going to quit. I left work and came back home to see my father and mother on the couch watching Hawaii 5-0. I wish they didn't start the show without me. I love that show. "Hey, um, there is this guy I have been dating for three months and have forgotten to tell you guys. Okay, goodnight." I say quickly and walk to my room. "Wait, young lady!" My dad snarls. "Yes." I turn the corner and realize that they aren't mad. "How much older is he than you?" My mom asks. I wanted to lie but I couldn't. "3." I couldn't finish. "3 months?" My dad asks. "3 years." I answer. They still weren't mad. Maybe I got off the hook. "When can we meet him?" Mom asks. "I don't know, he is kind of busy with work." "What does he do?" Dad asks. "He is an editor." I answer. I knew my parents were going to do this. They keep asking these questions until they are satisfied. "For books?" I face palm myself and keep answering all there questions until 10:00 pm.
