We get to Arby's and order. I sit down and save a seat for the both of us while he waits for the food. I get a couple of texts from old friends and boyfriends that want to hangout again sometimes. This time it is an old boyfriend, Grant. He wasn't a good boyfriend but he wasn't the worst. He was a mama's boy and wouldn't take no for an answer because he was pathetic.
G: hey wanna hangout
Y: don't you still live in Oregon
G: yeah, I thought you did too
Y: no I live in Washington
G: we can still hangout
G: they are border states
Y: I can't I'm a little busy
Y: um, I don't know if you want to get back together or something cause I have a boyfriend
Y: hold on ttyl
Max came back with the food. "Thanks." I say and start eating my food. We eat and talk for awhile until Max's phone starts ringing. "One sec." He says and moves towards the front. I continue to my phone. There were 5 messages from grant.
G: wait
G: I miss you
G: and I love you
G: please come back
G: please
Y: I can't it's a bad idea sorry bye
He didn't respond after that.
(Meanwhile)
Max's POV
It was Lucy. Why was she calling? I pressed the green button and brought the phone to my ear. "Hey we're here do you mind picking us up." She says. They're here already? Shit! I pressed the end call button and headed back to the table. I saw that (y/n) had just gotten off her phone. "Hey they are here already. I need you to drive me down to the airport." She sighed a little and gathered up her trash then we left for the airport
