Chapter 10: Jason Stewart

"Hi Jason," Susan said.
There was a kind of awkwardness in Susan's smile.
"Hi. Ms to be Clarke," Jason said.
"Yeah Ms. Already to be Clarke it is ,", Aaron surrounded her shoulder.
"Excuse me gentlemen, I need to get myself a drink.", Susan said.

Susan left but Jason did not drift his attention from her.
Aaron snapped.
"Bro what is it?"
"No . Nothing . I must say you are very lucky."
"Yes I am ", Aaron replied.

Susan went out looking for Alyssa. She finally found her.
"Aly, I need to talk to you."
"Sure. Say whats the matter Susan?? You look quiet worried."

Susan took her to the other side of the ship.
"Aly. He is here."
"Who? Who is here?"
"Jason. Jason Stewart."
"Who. Jason Stewart."
"Oh God. Aly. Dont you remember who Jason Stewart is?"
"Im sorry Susan bu really I dont know."
"Havent I mentioned about Mr.Arthur Stewart?"
"Arthur Stewart. Oh yes . Now I get it what about him?" , she asked.
"Jason is his son.", Susan said.
"Oh no! Now what?"
"I dont know. I'm quite bewildered by all this."
"Have you spoken to Aaron about it?", she asked.
"No. Not yet."
"Then. I think you should."
"Oh no dear. I can't mention this to Aaron. He would be furious."
"But what if Jason mentions it to him?"
"I dont think he would do that.", Susan said.
"How do you know? I think you should not hide anything from Aaron."

"What did you hide from me Susan?", Aaron said after he overheard them.

"Guys I think its better you two talk.", Alyssa said.
"Its time now. Tell him Susan.", Alyssa whispered into her ear and left.

"TRUST HER", she told Aaron as she left.

Aaron went walking towards Susan.
Susan was really scared over how would Aaron react.
"Tell me. What is it?", he lifter her chin up.
"Aaron I know I should have told you thislong back . It was just that...."
"Get to the point Susan.", his tone quiet serious.

"Excuse me to be Mr. And Mrs. Clarke," Sean interrupted.
"Can we have you two to the other side for dinner."
"Oh sure! ", Aaron said.
"We will talk later. And dont worry I believe you", he held her hand and left for the dining area.

Aaron and Susan were all surrounded by guests.

Aaron could not lose his eye contact with Susan.

Her eyes filled with anxiety. She was very eager to tell the truth to Aaron before someone else would.

Finally dinner was over and the guests were about to retreat.
"Mom me and Susan would like to relax a bit at the lake, can we leave?"
"Yes sure ", Ammelia said.

"Come Susan lets go .", Aaron took her hand and they drove towards the lake.
"Aaron ", she paused.
"Come on Susan tell me."
"Are you angry with me ?" , she asked.
"Not angry but ofcourse im upset."
"Upset?"
"Upset because of the fact that you felt the need to hide something from me. That means you dont trust me."
"No no Aaron you are misunderstanding me."
"Ok then tell me the truth now."
"Aaron Im the daughter of Edward and Vanessa Rhodes. And Im not the only daughter."
"What?" ,Aaron asked stunned with what he just heard.
"Yes Aaron . I have a younger sister."
"Have? Means? Is she alive?"
"Yes she might be alive."
"Might be? You dont know?", he asked.
"Yes . I was 4 when I lost my parents in a car crash . I was too naive to understand my responsibilities towards my sister. She was just a year old at that time. After a couple of years my sister was adopted from our orphanage."
"So you know with whom she is now?", he asked.
"No. I just pray that she is safe and happy."
"Dont worry if you both are destined to meet , you will meet."
"Yes."
"But how is Jason related to all this?", he asked.
"Jason's father Mr . Arthur Stewart was the trustee of the orphanage I lived at. So I was just tensed you would come to know from him. That would have bought me in the wrong picture."
"Dont worry Susan I believe you."

They drove back home as Susan was going to stay there at the Clarke Mansion and the other guests would be staying at the Cruise.

"Ah! Mr Clarke junior. ", Arthur Stewart greeted them.

"Hello Mr. Stewart meet my fiancée , Susan Rhodes."

"Rhodes?", are you the daughter of Edward and Vanessa Rhodes?"

"Yes sir."
"If im not wrong you had a sister right?"
"I know where your sister is."
"Do you?"
"Yes she is here. Right here in front of you."

He moves around and points a finger at...

ALEXANDRIA CLARKE.

What a shock it was to Susan
How will she react now?
What would Aaron do now?
Will the Clarkes be fine with this?
