Physics Ugghhh

There are genuinely times I wonder whether people have just gone overboard with theories and questions in physics and what was supposed to be a science has now become mostly bullshit.

Why this sudden outburst against physics?

Blame this damned physics worksheet that simply refuses to be easy.

But still, physics sometimes has such stupid questions I actually wonder where humanity lost its sanity. Take this question as an example-

Q. When a man hold his umbrella at an angle of 30 degrees from the vertical, the rain hits the umbrella with a velocity of 4 m/s. Then the man throws away the umbrella and starts running, and the rain starts hitting his head vertically with a velocity of 5 m/s. What is the velocity of the running man?

The actual fudging hell?

This question actually exists. I didn't make it up.

So yes, this is what physics has become.

Calculating the velocity of a lunatic running in the rain.

First off, who the hell even bothered calculating the velocity of rain in those two instances? Like buddy, just stand there and enjoy the rain. Don't calculate its velocity and make me lose hope in humanity.

Second, that idiot in the question. Dude, you had a freaking umbrella with you, why would you throw it away and start running? And now that you're running, I suggest you run to a mental asylum because you're brain isn't in excellent condition.

Third, do I look so jobless to you, Mr Question-Maker, that I am going to sit and break my head over this stupid question and calculate the velocity of a "genius" who just threw away his umbrella and started running for no apparent reason?

Like, why?

Is this honestly what humanity has come to?

Damn you physics, get some brains and give us questions with situations that have an actual possibility of happening. Or situations concerning normal people. Not freaks who run in the rain. I mean, even if that bloke wanted to enjoy the rain, he could have just closed him umbrella and stood there. Why throw it and run?

Why?

Why?
