for some reason,
you tend to mistake my uncomfortable stance and offputting body language
for an invitation into my personal space.
when i shrug your hand off my shoulder,
do not put it back in the same place.
do not act as the fly that comes back even after i swat at it.
if you pull me into a hug and i back out of it,
take the hint that i simply do not want to be enclosed,
perhaps bad things have happened to me when i've been wrapped in tight places.
my discomfort seems to get lost in translation.
either that or you're too closed and narrow-minded to understand
that i'm just not that into your presence.
