what if there was a place
where men could cry
and being born a woman was seen as an accomplishment.
gay men and women are nothing but that,
gay and happy.
if that world existed,
wars might come to a halt,
children might not starve anymore,
and barriers will be a thing of the past.
however,
my head remains on the pillow
and the cloud above my head weeps like a willow,
sighing in dismay that our reality
is everything but that of a dream.
