I was quiet at dinner. Trent went on about some annoying grade sixes at the skate park, mom talked about some big trial she's been put on and dad talked about expanding his chiropractic centre. "So Steph did you meet the new neighbours?" Mom asked me while I was helping clean up. "Ummm yeah. They were nice." I say quietly. "That's nice honey. Who's the family?" My dad asks. "They're the Gray's. There's a mom named Anne, I don't know what the dads name since he wasn't there and they have a son named Blake a year older than me." I reply. "Is he hot?" Trent asks. "Ew shut up." I say finishing up the dishes. "I getting ready for bed, I have an early hockey game tomorrow." I say running upstairs to my room.
I get dressed into sweats and my Nirvana shirt and decide to browse on my phone. I turn it on and I see one notification-
Unknown number-Hey. I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. It wasn't even you making fun of me and I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. So um sorry.
Me-Blake???
Unknown Number-yeah??
Me-wait how did u even get my number??!
Blake-when I took ur phone earlier I took a glance at ur number and then put it in my phone
Me-but I have a password

That was it for our chat. I turn off my side lamp and set my alarm for 6:30 and get to sleep. Surprisingly, all I thought about before falling asleep was Blake, which is odd. Hmmmmmmm
