Steph's POV
"Thanks for coming, I'll make this quick." Both mine and Gavin's games just ended, and I wanted him to come to my place to discuss what that kiss meant and what stage our relationship is at.

"No problem, take your time because I don't live far from here and I'm not expected home right away." I nod. "It's kind of chilly. Want to go inside?" Gavin and I are standing in my drive way, and since it's November in Canada, it's a little chilly. "Nah, I like this weather." So I guess we're staying outside, but I don't mind.

"So what is it you want to talk about?" He asks is a shuttle tone. "Oh right. So that kiss we shred two nights ago." He nods as he is following the conversation. "What did it mean to you?"

His face goes from happy to a little nervous. "Gavin you can tell me." He takes a deep breath and begins to talk.

"Here's the thing. When we first met I had the biggest crush on you. Like I've never had that big a crush." I don't know what to say about that. Like, I liked him, but now I only see him as a friend.

"But after our kiss, I realized that we should only be friends, just so we don't ruin our relationship." Thank the heavens were on the same page.

"I feel the exact same way." We both smile at the fact that we're sharing the same feeling. "Let's hug it out friend" he says with a smirk. I lean in and we share a nice, friendly hug.

Blake's POV
"Mom Taylor's here to take me to the show!" I yell upstairs to my mom so she knows I'm leaving. "Ok Blake have fun!" She yells down and then I'm out the door.

As soon as I step out I see something I don't want to see-Steph hugging that kid. I know we're probably never gonna talk again, but it still hurts to see that.

"What's your girlfriend doing hugging another man?" Taylor teases as he drives off. "She found someone who treated her better than me." I sigh then look back to see the kid leaving her house. He's a good looking kid, Steph's really to have him.

-

"Blake you've been really quiet this whole show, are you okay?" I look to the side of me and see Cameron approaching me. "I'm fine, just somethings on my mind, that's all." I sigh and wait for the VIP meet and greets to start.

"Some things? More like someone!" Hunter just decides to laugh like a stupid idiot and join this conversation. "Hunter this isn't the time" says Cameron giving him a stern look.

"What just chill! Blame call your biscuits and stop thinking about that attention whore. Look at this big selection of girls here!" That's it. I'm sick of Hunter and his behaviour.

"Listen white crayon! Steph isn't an attention whore! And because of you creating this influence on me, mine and Steph's relationship is ruined! That's it, I'm sorry Cameron but I refuse to be in the same building as this filthy animal. Tell the fans I'm sorry. Bye guys it's been a pleasure." From there I storm out of the meet and greet and to the exit and don't look back.

-

I don't really pay attention to where I'm going because when I'm almost at the exit I bump into someone. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." I look up and see a girl extending her arm to help me up.

"No it's my fault, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She gives me a half smile as she pulls me up so we're face to face.

I examine her features as I look more at her. She's an inch shorter than me, she's lean with the slightest curve to her body, naturally tanned skin, dark green eyes and dark-ish brown hair, with navy blue tips.

"Oh my gosh are you Blake Gray?" I pull her to the corner of the room. "Please don't scream, I don't want fans to see me." She rolls her eyes. "Just because I ask who you are doesn't make me a fan." She has me there.

I look at her with a dumbfounded expression. "Um hello? Earth to Blake Gray?" I quickly snap out of my state. "Uh, yeah?" Real smooth Blake. "Why aren't you at the meet and greet? A bunch of people wanted to meet you, my cousin included."

"Personal issues with Hunter Rowland." It's not the complete truth, but I have to tell her something. "Oh that kid? He seems a little weird." That statement makes me laugh.

"So why aren't you at the meet and greet?" "My cousin got two tickets and one was meant for her friend, but her friend got the flu and then I was dragged along." She shrugs.

"I got bored during the show so I came out here to chill, I've met some bored older brothers and parents here so it's all been great." I kind of like that she's not a fan.

"Look my mom is gonna be here to pick me up in thirty minutes, and the show doesn't end until an hour and a half, so do you maybe wanna go to Starbucks and chill there for a bit?" I don't know of she'll say yes, but it's worth a shot. "Totally, let's go!" Yay she agreed.

I take her hand and we proceed to Starbucks.

-

"Hey my mom will be at the venue in five minutes so wanna start heading back?" She nods and we walk back.

"Hey, you're much cooler than I thought you'd be." I chuckle. "Well, I'm just a cool guy." We both laugh and continue to walk.

"So I never got your name" I say. "Oh, I'm Briley." Briley. That's a cute name. "You from Toronto?" I really hope she is so we can hang out. "Yeah, but Toronto is huge." She makes a good point.

"What area do you live in?" I hope she's near me. "Near the beach area." JACKPOT! "Same, I'll give you my number and we should totally hang out sometime since we live close."

She gives me her phone and I do the same. I put my number in then give her back the phone.

"Well my mom is here, I guess I gotta go."
"Well then, it was nice meaning you Blake."
"You too Briley."
"I'll text you so we can set a date to chill."
"Great."
"Bye Briley."
"Bye Blake."

As I walk to my mom's car, I feel the urge to do something. "Briley!" She stops in her tracks and turns around to face me. "Yes Bla-" I interrupt her with a small but nice kiss on the lips.

I don't know why I did it. She's really pretty and sweet and all, but she also reminds me of Steph. Maybe I did this not because I'm attracted to her, but because I want Steph in my life again and this is the closest to her I'm gonna get.
