Blake's POV
"Talk about what?" she asks me with a nervous face forming on her. "There's no easy way to say this" I go on. "Blake, I've only known you for two days, this can't be hard." She says with some form of attitude. "Well for the two days I've known you it's really felt like forever." I say quietly. She hears me and she blushes ever so slightly, only visible from up close. "So what were you going to say" she says trying to get me to focus on the topic. "I know I just got here and all, but I got an email saying that Magcon Canada is getting the go ahead." I say. "And?" She asks not seeing my point clearly. "I'm going to be on tour for two weeks" I say. There's silence for a while. I study her movements; she's looking down at her lap, then away from the screen, then back to her lap. "Oh" she says scratching her head. "Yeah" I say biting my lip. The silence comes again. I can see she's slightly disappointed, but I wonder why. We've barley hung out so I don't really understand what's going on. Like we're friends and all, maybe even really good friends. We have this connection that I can't describe. It's like our relationship was meant to happen, in whatever form it's in. "I was really looking forward to hanging out with you this week." She says still looking away from me. "Wait, you wanted to hang out this week?" I ask cluelessly. Damn Blake, play it real smooth. I guess I'm kind of happy she wanted to hang with me more, I love spending time with her. "Well yeah of course, you're really nice and I'd love to get to know you a bit better. I barley know anything about you." She says starting to look at me again. "We can skype" I say smiling a bit. "Everyday" she says fully looking at me. Everyday with her. That's all I need. "That's what I was thinking" I say smiling. Skyping everyday is going to be great, at least I can see her face everyday. "When do you leave?" She asks calmly. "Tomorrow at 6:30. My flight is at 8:10" I answer. "Great, that gives me time to say one last goodbye before you leave." She says cheerfully. "Can't wait!" I say. "Hey it's pretty late and unlike you, I have school tomorrow." She says turning off her lamps so all I can see is a blurry image of her face. "Get some rest then. Goodnight Steph" I say turning off my lights too. "Night Blake." She says hanging up. I lay on my bed looking up to my pitch black ceiling. So many thoughts run through my head. Do I like Steph? Does she like me? She can't like me, she'd never like a guy whose famous for lip synching. She probably wants someone like her, a hockey playing, really attractive and down to earth boy. Like that kid she was getting all close with in her driveway today. I bet she'd rather have him rather than me. All these thoughts swarm my head and I soon drift off to sleep.
