"Are you Spanish? You keep saying Re really cool . . ." One of the sopranos turned to me.
"You mean Mexican?" Everyone burst out laughing, and I chuckled.
"I meant to ask if he spoke Spanish," I blushed, embarrassed," I know what I meant."
We were in currently in choir, split in groups of six. My current group had seven since we had two extra sopranos. Three altos, three sopranos, and one baritone (almost base if you ask me ;p).
"No, I don't," Arin (the baritone of the group, and only boy) turned back to the group. "Let's try this again." The sopranos began, and the other altos and I waited until they got back to Do.
"Do Do Re Do. Do Re Mi Re Do. Do Re Mi Fa Mi Re Do. Do Re Mi Fa So Fa Mi Re Do. Do Re Mi Fa So La So Fa Mi Re Do. Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti La So Fa Mi Re Do. Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do Do Ti La Fa Mi Re Do." We al chuckled as Arin did the guy part alone, and each tried to join the Do together. Which pretty much ended in giggles.
