Chap.16 continued

Cops PoV:
" we need the stretcher this man has been shot", I yell into the monitor. "We're on our way", they yell back. I pull out my phone and tell the family that he's been shot and to stay in the house just in case the boy is still here.

Abby's PoV:
"Weston what if my dads dead". I cry into his shoulder. (Their still in the closet btw). "It will be ok, just know I'm here for you, and if u need someone to talk to I'm always free", Weston says. My mom is crying and awing at the same time. "I hope he's ok mom". I say. "Me to", she says.

Cops PoV:
We put the man in the stretcher and see he is still breathing. I call the family and give them the news.

Weston's PoV:
Abby had a huge smile on her face after her mom told her the news. "Weston he's ok and I just wanted to say thank you for being here and staying with me today", Abby says and starts to tear up. "Hey, hey don't cry", I say wiping a tear from her eye. "Thank you again", She says. "Hey mom did the cops say that we could go out now"? Abby asks. "Idk I'll call back and ask", her mom replies.

Cops PoV:
The family called and asked if they could come out of the small room. I told them yes but we're still tracking down the kid who shot him. And to just stay in the house and lock the doors.

Abby's PoV:
"Hey Weston can u stay over tonight", I ask a little nervous trying not to come off a little to strong. "Uh maybe let me text my mom", he says. Few seconds later... "She said yea just be home early tomorrow", he says. "K sounds good do you wanna go to the movies or something", I ask. " yea sure let me walk home and get some money wanna walk with me"? He asks. "Yea sure lets go tell my mom". I walk to my moms room and tell her I'm going to the movies and she gives me some money and we go. The movie theater isn't that far so we just walk. Weston goes inside his house and gets money and we start walking to the theater. After a few minutes of walking my mom calls

Mom- I have good news
Me- ok what is it
Mom- one, they found Jacob and he's been locked up and two, dads coming home tomorrow
Me- yay that good can't wait to see him and bye I'll call u when the movies over ok bye love u
Mom- love you to bye

"Yay Weston guess what"!! I tell him. "What happened"? He asked. "Well they found Jacob and my dad is coming home tomorrow"! I squeal. Weston hugs me and says he's glad to see me happy. We started walking again. I start to get lost in my thoughts, and we finally get to the theater. "What do u wanna watch", I ask Weston. "Something scary" he said with a smirk. "Oh um sure but I warn you I get scared easily", I tell him. "It's ok and let's watch nightmare on elm street", he says. "Ok I guess", I say. We walk in and buy our things separately. I buy a large popcorn and Oreo dippin dots with a coke. Weston got the same thing, we walked into the theater and got into the seats which were at the very top. There was barely anyone here. The movie started and about 20 minutes into the movie I started shaking cause it's getting really scary. "Hey you ok"? Weston asks and I shake my head no. Weston pulls the arm thing up and lays all his stuff down and I lay my stuff down. I scoot closer to Weston and lay my head on his shoulder. I start to eat my dipping dots because there amazing. Than after I'm done I lay it down on the floor.
After movie, and when they get to Abby's house....

"Hey mom where is Weston gonna sleep"? I ask my mom. "Um you guys can sleep on the two couches if you want tonight", she says. "Ok thanks goodnight". I tell her and she goes to her room. I go to my room and get like a million blankets and pillows.( more like 10 but ya know). I go to the living room and make a fort in front of the tv. I turn the lights off and put candles in front of the tv, I turn the tv on and put Netflix on, then I lay more covers down under the fort and pillows. So now it's just the tv and a big fort hovering over us and it's pretty good size. " wow it looks good", Weston says. "Why thank you, I say and giggle a little. We get under the fort and I had popcorn laying out for us, which was probably a bad idea cause we had a popcorn fight. "What do you wanna watch", I ask. "Something romantic I guess cause I like those kinds of movies", Weston says. "Ok", I say. I let Weston pick and he picked a random one. I laid down and put a cover over me. "Goodnight Weston", I say and yawn. "Good night want me to lay down with you"? He asks. "Yea that would be nice", I say. Weston lays down next to me and I drift off to sleep.

Weston's PoV:
"Hey Mario I need your help", I say over FaceTime. "What do you need at 1 a.m Weston", Mario says. "Well I'm at Abby's house and i really like her and also I really want t- I was cut off by Mario telling me to just tell her. After a while we hung up. "Hey Weston I heard all that and I wanted to say that I like you to", Abby says and kisses my cheek and says that we will talk in the morning..
