Chapter 3: Lunch Hour

Tori's POV

"No! I will not go out with you!" I said to Rex, frustrated. He wants to go on a date with me cause he's never had a 'real' girlfriend.

"Eh, girl. I'm fun and really chill." He protested.

"No! You're weird and socially awkward just like Robbie!"

"Hey! At least I've almost had a girl ask me out!" Robbie blurted.

"Hey guys! What goes on?" A voice followed. It's Shawn! He wants to hang with us?

"No! Shawn! Not those people! They'll fawn over you!" I heard another voice. It's Trina, ugh.

"Hey at least they're normal, unlike you." He tells her, I opened my mouth in amazement. This guy can be sarcastically sassy. I like it.

"Well there's another abnormal person that I see..." Jade began, giving Shawn a glance. I shot her a glare.

"Thank you, Jade." He tells her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Never touch me." Jade replies while shaking his hand off. "I'm going now." She says sassily and leaves.

"Is there something wrong with her?" Shawn asks me.

"NO!!" Jade heard and shouted back at him.

"Um, why don't we have lunch." I changed the topic.

"So, Shawn... I hear you're world famous..." Rex flirted. Here we go again.

"Um, thanks. Yeah, I'm known almost everywhere. It's really crazy." He says, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

"So you're here at Hollywood Arts for how long?" I asked him.

"I'm here for 2 years, then I go back on tour. This school's really fun. Lots of talent."

"Hi guys!." It's Cat.

"Hey Cat." We all replied.

"Oh! Shawn! Hi! I'm Cat." She says to him and shakes his hand.

"Hey Cat. I like your hair." He tells her and she laughs weirdly.

"Hey, girl! Back off, he's mine." Rex tells her.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"I saw him first! He's mine."

"REX!!" I shouted at him, he shuts up.

"Um, I'm just gonna go..." Shawn says and gets up.

"No, Shawn. Please..." I started but he already left. I glanced at Rex and glared at him.

**MEANWHILE INSIDE THE SCHOOL HALLWAY**

Jade's POV

I'm staring to get peeved at Shawn. For some reason his talent makes me mad but at the same time, he's really cute and I kinda like him.

"Hey, Jade right?" I heard a familiar voice. It's Shawn. Oh God, what could he want from me?

"Yeah, correct. Now what do you want?" I said back quite firmly.

"Um, I just wanna say please don't hurt me. Tori's told me about how... um, how do I put this gently...?"

"Wait, Tori? What did she say to you?" I started to increase my voice.

"U-um, I ca-can't..."

"TELL ME!" I screamed at him but he seemed scared and ran off.

"Please don't kill me!" He says while running. I stormed off the opposite a way to confront Tori.

Tori's POV

"Tori!!" I heard a threatening voice. It's Jade.

"Jade, um hi..." Before I could finish, she yanked my arm and dragged me to the janitor's closet.

"What did you tell Shawn about me?!" She shouts, making me flinch.

"SAY IT!!"

"W-well, I just t-told him to be careful around you, cause you're um--" I paused.

Jade's POV

"I'm what?" I demanded her, sounding quite firmly.

"...dangerous." She squeaks.

"Yeah I am, right?" I confessed.

"You do realize he's a new student! Please be nice to him." She tells me. I sighed.

"Okay, but just tell him if he dare tries to show off his talent to me..."

"Oh my God, can you just forget about the past?!"

"I can't! Look, Harry Styles today is a famous celebrity! I COULD'VE BEEN THAT A LONG TIME AGO IF I WON!!" I screamed at her, frustrated.

"I understand your pain..." She says awkwardly.

"Do you?" I replied sarcastically.

**BELL RINGS**

We both came out of the janitor's closet.

"Be nice to him." Tori warns me.

"Be nice to him." I replied back, mocking her and headed to class.
