He had oceans for eyes. Brilliantly blue, darkened by fathoms of secrets lying below the surface. You could easily drown in his gaze. He wasn't just someone who rippled the surface, no. He was one to explore the hypnotizing endlessness held by others. He's seen as much as the ocean. Others searching for a place to call home as he gently coaxed them toward himself. He loved people though he'd never admit it. He couldn't stand to see someone lost. He knew far too well what it was like to be a sailor on the sea without any hope. In all his kindness, there was a bitterness as well. He was never afraid to defend his loved ones, no matter the price. He was a hurricane and a gentle wave in the water. He was chaos and peace. He was everything I needed. He was killing me slowly. And I have loved him for it from the very beginning.
