She saw with her eyes closed and spoke without ever using words. She was an old soul fighting modern demons. She loved every single person she came across. She saw beauty and perfection in them when they couldn't find it in themselves. She was broken, but she was golden. She never let her own monsters hurt anyone else. She was everything everyone needed: a caring touch, a listening ear, a guiding hand, a shoulder to lean on. She was far too wise for her age, but no one seemed to notice that.
Then, suddenly, she had him. He kissed her and all her responsibilities fell away. He sang to her and she was free to be who she wanted to be, not who everyone else expected her to be. He cared about her, and that was something even she had never done. He showed her how beautiful she was and refused to let her believe otherwise.
