You've grown oh so beautifully,
morphed into my worst temptation
I've been peeling for so long and I finally see
what you tried so hard to keep hidden.
In that smooth exterior,
I assumed would be sucrose delight
but I was most disappointed
when I got its bitter content
it soured my life.
You've done so well.
I had been fooled
I now know not to pick another fruit.
To rid of the bitterness,
I need to remove the whole plant,
groping from it's root.
Now you've blossomed into a sweet one
news fruits have bared, the time has come
for you to be harvested, but not from me my dear,
there's another garden waiting for my care.

Poetic Justice
PoetryThis a book containing my poems. The poems are far from literal, i don't write directly. It's also a bit depressing. I don't write about hearts and flowers. That may or may not change in the future. You want poems to relate to loneliness, depression...
