6: Let's go back home

Sheena's POV

"Arjun has only a week's time or he will be...

Dead"

I felt as if someone has pushed off the cliff. No!! This can't happen. How??? Why??? Why this has to happen with us??

I know he is into some other girl and today only, just a few hours ago, he broke my heart...tore it into half. But still I have to help him. At least for our friendship sake. I can't let him die like this.

"You got to be kidding me? Just 7 f-" Jeremy was about to cuss but he realized that swearing in presence of a princess like Myra will not be a good idea.

"Yes we have just 7 days to save Arjun because right now he might be in hell with James and if a living person, who is not dead enters into immortal realm, he or she dies. Everything thing in that place whether it is flower or even water, soaks all your energy like a sponge. Making you weaker and weaker till your death."

By hearing Myra say those words, a chill ran through my spine and I could feel my hair rising at the back of my neck. I can't even imagine a death to be this torturing and painful.

Without even thinking twice I said,"I  need to save him..."  I turned to Myra "take me where James has took Arjun. He wants me no?? I let him have what he wants. I just want Arjun to live."

"You are not going anywhere without us" Amy said.

Jeremy also butted in, " yeah, you are not going there all alone. I am coming with you."  I raised an brow at him. Why he is acting as if he cares for me?? I know he hates me with all his heart and soul then why?? Just because he just got to know that he is my guardian and he has to impress his girl. Such a double standard person he is.

"No, I don't want you or any of you to come with me." I ordered. " Take me to hell right now. I need to finish this once and for all."

"Who told you that I sending you all to Hell at the first place??" Myra gave us an uncertain look.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I am sending all of you to Verena first. You all have to gain your memories and your powers and then only you can fight him." Myra said bluntly.

"But we don't have time!!" I shouted.

"You can't fight James with your bare hands or this time there will be no one to save you from dying." Myra explained.

"Alright we should not waste any time and go right away to Verena." Amy said as she stood up from bed.

"Hey, who told you that you are coming with us??" He didn't sounded as if he was ordering Amy, he sounded concerned about her. "You need to stay here. We don't know what is awaiting us there in whatever place this Verena is. I want you to be safe and if anything happened to you I'll go insane. " He said as he took her hands in his.

Well if the situation was something else, it would have been a perfect 'aww..'  moment. I mean Jeremy loves Amy so much. And that's the only thing I like about him, else he is a jerk.

"I don't need you permission." Amy said bluntly.
Then he did something unexpected, he growled which made Amy to flinch with fear.

I mean how could a human growl like that.

Amy then took over her fear and she snapped her fingers in a square in Jeremy's face.

"Oh puh-lease, you know that your growls don't affect on me, Wolfy." 

This made Jeremy even more angry and was preparing a comeback but we need to stop this husband-wife drama.

"Guys shut up!!" Myra shouted, she looked irritated. She pointed at Amy and said," She has to come with us, I can sense she has enormous power in her. She could be useful." 

Jeremy gave her a glare but then shook his head in defeat.

"Now, it's time for us to go where everything started.....to Verena." Myra gazed all of us.

Myra, then, murmured something under her breath and a in no time a blue portal opened in front of us. It was enough big for any human to go through it. She motioned us to get in and Amy went in first followed by Jeremy. I was a bit nervous, I mean what if I could't come back to the real world?

You have to do this, for Arjun....

I took a deep breath and jumped in. Everything was rolling in front of my eyes. I was feeling nausea, okay if this didn't stop, I literally going to throw up. I closed my eyes and started taking deep breaths. 

Suddenly I felt my back hit something solid. When I opened my eyes I saw the sun shining above me. I looked around to find myself lying on the grass land. I could see vast land covered with grass and flowers. Am I in Verena???

As I stood up to find others, I felt my head getting heavier and a stabbing pain at the back of my head. The pain was so unbearable that I fall on my knees with my head in my hand. I closed my eyes and groaned in pain. The moment I closed my eyes, I was feeling like something is happening with my brain, as if new memories are being installed in my brain. 

I could see images, so many images. Even those thing which I had never seen any of my dreams. In some I was with a black haired girl, fight with her, comforting her when she was crying, a guy with blue eyes laughing at something, I saw Arjun fighting with a sword, a large crowd cheering my name, me and Ajun kissing each other, giant wolf running after me.......STOP!!!

I started screaming as my brain could not handle all this pain and images. Suddenly the pain was gone. I was normal again but I was breathing heavily. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Amy and Jeremy looking at me with concerned look and Myra was just beside them looking at me with a matching expression.

"Are we in Verena??" I asked Myra. She turned her back towards and started looking at a particular direction,

"Yes, we are in Verena.......But I guess we are late. Someone has already been here before us." There was pain and panic in Myra's voice. All three of us stood up and walked beside Myra. The scene in front of us was devastating. 

There was small city in front of us, burning as if it is a huge bonfire. The castle, adjoining the city, appeared as if  a bulldozer was made to run over it. It's large pillars were now nothing but mere pieces of stone. The large cloud of smoke was floating above the place.

I felt a knot in my stomach by seeing that condition of the city as if someone has destroyed my home. 

When did this happened?? And Who did this??????
