Stars In The Sky

I stared into the sky, in a tree after I put Harmony to bed. I could hear the subtle sounds from the CD player, playing the unforgettable song, Space Oddity.

I looked at the full moon, such a pretty moon.

"Goku... I wish you could be here... to see your niece, Vegeta and I as happy as we could be... and most of all, your descendent." I said to the moon, which I didn't expect a reply.

"I miss you, Chi- Chi, Bulma,Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Tien, Chiozu, and Yamcha. I miss you all..." then I started crying, which was not always normal for me.

"One day... we will be all together again." I said, my tears still falling.

"What's wrong momma?"

Startled I looked to Harmony's room, she was up, her black hair shining in the moonlight.

"Nothing is wrong sweetie."

"I know something is wrong, you never usually cry if you don't have a reason."

I then jumped down and into Harmony's room.

"I know... well, I miss all my friends and family up there... that's all. But I am so thankful to have you and Vegeta as a family now. I finally had my dream come true, to be a mother." I said as I held her close. But something in her pjs was sticking out from her lower back. I never noticed it...

"What's wrong momma?"

"How long has this thing in your back been sticking out?"

"What?! I have something sticking out?! What the heck is it?!"

Looked and it was a brown furry tail.

"You have your tail..."

And Harmony freaked out!

"Momma!!! What is that tail doing here?!"

I then had to explain it to her. "Saiyans have tails, you are technically a pure blood Saiyan, so you have a tail. But how long have you had this?"

"I don't know..." then she looked around the room, the moonlight was coming through the window, she then ran to the window, I tried to stop her, but I never got a good grip.

She stared at the moon.

"Momma? What is happening to me? I can't stop looking, my heart is about to beat out of my chest and I feel nothing but cringing pain..." she said, her eyes now filled with tears.

"VEGETA!!!! HELP!!!!" I screamed and he ran up in his pjs and he looked around and saw Harmony, her tail sticking out and her crying.

He didn't really say anything, but quickly picked her up and flew out the window.

I flew with Vegeta and Harmony and she transforming...

"Katarina, we need to get this tail off of her as soon she is done transforming..." he said and I nodded. We headed to an empty island, set her down and she started to transform. I didn't really want her to fully transform... but she had to... we didn't know what would happen if we cut her tail off mid transformation.

I then looked away and buried my head into Vegeta's chest, my eyes full of tears. Vegeta put his arm around me.

Then we heard the screams of a ape, she was done transforming.

She was many stories high, she still had tears in her eyes.

"Alright Katarina, tie her up and I will cut off that tail." And I nodded, I created vines to wrap Harmony all up.

I wrapped her up, she screamed and she tried to break free.

Then I heard the breaking of my vines and her hand grabbed me and squeezed me. My bones started to break, pain everywhere in my body. My eyes had tears like you wouldn't believe.

"Harmony... please let go of me..." I said and she didn't hear me at all. Vegeta looked at me and he had worry written all over his face.

"Harmony... know I always love you..." and I blacked out.
