Peace Time?

Just like always, we were at peace. We were relaxing, not worrying about the next fight.

Harmony was going back to school and everyone was mainly bored. I was the only one still training. I was a teacher now, and I had to be at my best for my students.

"Katarina? Would you like to spar? I haven't train in awhile." Vegeta asked me as he saw me hanging by my legs in a tree.

"Sure, I thought you would never ask me." I said, smiling at Vegeta. He looked at me with somewhat of a strange look...Though he already knew I wasn't his quote-unquote normal.

"Are you done hanging there like a monkey?"

"No! I will stay here forever, my dear Vegeta." I laughed and he smiled a tiny bit. Just a little.

He seemed unlike himself around me. I was the chink in his armor.

"Would you like to have a little spar now?" I said, unhooking myself from the tree, flipping around in the air, and landing with precision.

"I already asked you. You already said yes. Why bother asking again?" Vegeta looked at me with his confused look.

"I love it when you are confused." I said and I took his hand. I flipped him over, his guard was down.

"You are so on, Katarina!"

We sparred a bit, it was nice to have a great sparring partner again.

"Let's see if you like this!" I said as I hit him with as much strength as I could muster.

This sent him flying into a cliff. Oh my Kai!

"Vegeta!" I yelled as I went through the rubble. I then finally my prince, all scratched and bleeding.

"Vegeta... I am so sorry." I choaked, my tears running in streams down my face.

"Please wake up! Please! I should have never done that." I said, cursing myself for doing something as rudimentary as using every bit of my strength against not so powered up Vegeta.

"Please wake up!" I kept crying, he was unconscious.

"I have to take you back to the house. But I couldn't even begin to lift you." I said to myself. I didn't have that much strength to lift him, not after that attack.

"Goku! Come quick!" I said mentally making a signal in my head. I used my magic to make that message travel.

"WHOA! What was that?!" Goku mentally thought back.

"It's me! Akari! I need you. I will explain all of this later." I said frantically.

Suddenly, Goku appeared ready to help.

"I knocked out Vegeta...accidentally..." I said and Goku smiled a little.

"Great job, right?"

"Goku..." I gave him a stern glare.

"Ok, ok... now we gotta get him in the house, right?"

I nodded and he nodded back. Goku lifted Vegeta and flew alongside me.

I can't believe I knocked out Vegeta. I could never forgive myself if anything bad happened to him.

"I think he will be fine. We have had many cliffs fall on us." Goku hysterically laughed as he set Vegeta on the bed.

"I just hope you are right. But no one has actually been knocked out before. This is definitely different." I said, many situations playing in my mind.

"We can only hope he will wake up soon enough. You can heal him."

"That's right! I can! What would I do without you, Goku?"

"Not have me."

I then rolled my eyes as I got ready to heal Vegeta.

I took my guardian pin out of my hair and transformed. I saw my reflection, I looked like a Saiyan angel about to touch the sleeping Saiyan. My white clothing shining with my black hair. My hair then turned into that Super Saiyan blonde I knew of.

I touched Vegeta, sparkles running from my hand onto Vegeta's dormant body. The sparkles danced like the firefly lit nights of summer. The room lighting up more than it was with the bed side lamp on.

I hoped this would work, my energy was slowly draining away. I looked at Vegeta, his face still had that blank expression.

My power kept draining. My golden yellow now gone and I was beginning to turn pale. I would give my life to Vegeta if I needed to.

I started a bit lightheaded. Goku saw me losing that energy to even stand. He stood right beside me and lowered me into a chair.

"You need to stop now. He will wake up. I know it." Goku said while rubbing my shoulders.

"Yeah... Goku? What is a fear of yours besides needles."

He thought about it for a bit.

"I guess it was losing my family. Never really wanted to grow old. I wanted to be young forever."

I weakly smiled.

"My greatest fear is to lose my family too. I wouldn't know what to do."

"Me neither."

Then I heard a groan escape Vegeta's lips. I frantically checked on him.

"Vegeta! Thank all the Kai you are okay." I said and hugged him.

"Who-who are you?"
