"No! NO!" I tried to scream; but as you already know, I had tape on my mouth, so I hardly could scream. But my fidgeting and uneasy manner was enough to get then men's attention.
"What's your problem, honey? Scared of losing your boyfriend?" the abductor said.
He was not my boyfriend. He was so much more. He was my best friend. He beat up the big kids that bullied me in primary school even though he was as scared as I was; he took the blame for something I did in third grade; he kissed me goodnight (on the forehead) on our sleepover whenever I had a nightmare... He was everything.
My cheeks seemed to flush bright red at my fury, as the men looked at me with shock.
Especially Mr. Cole.
"What the- she's choking? The- the- the tape. T- take it off her! It's choking her!" he ordered. I wasn't choking. I was angry. But if it meant that the abductors would take off the tape, then I might as well have been choking.
The abductors rushed to me and one of them peeled the tape off with so much power, I feared he pulled some of the hairs of my chin off - half a bad thing and half a good thing.
"Ow!" I screamed, as the bad thing crept up on me - the pain.
"You hurt her, you fools!" growled Mr. Cole.
"Mr. Cole-"
"Don't reason out with me. Take the girl in my living room."
I felt two pairs of hands lifting me up gently with precaution. But I didn't want to go to his living room. I wanted to stay here. With my best friend.
"No. I want to stay with Ainsley." I demanded.
The boy chuckled; "Who do you think you are? A bloody royal? You do as I say."
"No." I replied simply, folding my arms. He's gonna have to do more than that for me to desert my friend.
But the boy merely nodded at the abductors as they took me away; and he stayed with Ainsley. I fought back as hard as I could; but two fully grown men were handling me. I couldn't fight them for long. Therefore I gave up fighting, and took up screaming Ainsley's name.
But he never heard me. None of them did.
The last I saw of Ainsley that day was the pool of blood he was sitting on, and the two dark shadows cowering over him. One was pure evil, but the other gave me hope. No matter how little, it was better than none at all.

"In." the man commanded of me.
"Make me." I replied. And he just literally kicked me in. He's right. He must have done this job before. I bet he's so used to kicking people, he probably does it to his cat all day - if he has a cat, that is.
I stumbled to my feet and sat on the chair, with shivering arms. Until I remembered that I am not a guest at my aunt, Julissa Beedles's home. She used to have cookies sprawled over her living room table. And I used to get out my favourite - jumble; and I'd hide them under a cloth so that no-one else can find them, and at the end of the day, I'd pretend to be a good girl, so I'd take the cloth to the bin as rubbish, but it would simply go to my stomach. I sighed when I realised there was no plate with cookies on the table. The table was glass and transparent. It was empty. And my blood turned cold. I looked confused, but when I realised I was no longer sitting in my aunt's house, but an abductor's house who wanted to murder my bestfriend - then I suddenly leaped off the sofa and stood up straight. He probably wouldn't have wanted me in the chair at the first place.
