Spark's P.O.V.
______________
The next day, we headed into the mountains. We arrived just in time for a storm giant battle. Evidentally, half the company was on the knee of a storm giant. The ledge broke, more like the storm giant moved, taking Kili with it!
Then his ledge was heading straight for the face of a cliff. We were all just frozen, because we knew there was nothing we could do. When Kili fell, we all ran to him. Surprisingly, he had no major injuries. Thorin embraced him saying, "Never do that to me again."
I was glad Thorin was finally expressing how much he really cared for his nephew.
We found a cave to camp in for the night, and finally settled in. I took the first watch, no matter how much the others protested.
I was sitting outside the cave, and all of a sudden Thorin came out to sit by me.
"Hey," he said softly.
"Hi," I replied.
"You ok?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Just checking." He put an arm around me, and I laid my head on his shoulder while slipping an arm around his waist.
We sat there like that for a while, untill my watch was up and it was Bofur's turn. I woke him up then went to get some sleep myself. Thorin laid his roll right beside mine, wrapped an arm around my waist, and pulled me over to him again. Not that I minded.
I was finally falling asleep, when Thorin jumped up, pulling me up with him and yelled, "Up! Everyone up!"
The floor was splitting open beneath us. We all started to fall.
When we finally hit the ground, we were in Goblintown. Fun.
We were instantly surrounded, bound, and taken to the king. If any goblins got too close, Thorin hit them.
Once we were in front of the king, I was ready to throw up.
"Why were you on the step of our front door?" the king demanded.
No one said a word.
"Very well, if they won't talk, take the girl!" the king demanded.
Suddenly, the goblins pulled me away from the others, and tied me to a post where they started punching me.
"Wait!" shouted Thorin, shoving his way to the front. Then everything just stopped.
"Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain. Oh but you don't have a mountain, so you're not a king, which makes you nobody, really. I know someone who will pay a pretty price for your head. Just the head, nothing attached." the king laughed.
I tried desperately to get out of my bonds, but they were tied too tight.
Then, one of the goblins unsheathed Thorin's elvish sword. The goblin king ordered the others to kill us. All of a sudden, a blinding white light flashed through the caves. All the goblins were knocked down, and I heard Gandalf yell, "Fight! Up arms and Fight!"
Thorin and the others instantly jumped up and grabbed there weapons and began to fight.
The first thing Thorin did was come cut me free, then he blocked a blow from the goblin king just in time, and sent him tumbling off the edge of the platform. Then Thorin handed me my sword, and we were a deadly combination. The goblins were running, just so they wouldn't have to face us.
It felt just like the old days when Thror and Thrain would bring us to battle with them.
Eventually, we made it out, but Bilbo was missing.
"He is long gone." said Thorin.
"No he isn't." Bilbo replied. Most of us started to cheer.
"Why did you come back?" Thorin challenged.

"I often think of Bag End, my books, my bed. Because that's where I belong. That's home. That's why I came back, because you don't have one. It was taken from you, and I am here to help you take it back." Bilbo explained. I was impressed, but I wasn't letting him, or anyone, know.
In the distance we heard the howl of a warg.
"Out of the frying pan," I began.
"And into the fire." Gandalf finished as we all began to run.
Spark and I ran side by side, so I could make sure she stayed safe. I lost he once, and it isn't going to happen again.
We all started to climb the trees, just as the orcs came into veiw. That's when we saw him.
Azog the Defiler was back, and I was going to get my revenge.____________________________

Oh, no! It just had to be Azog, didn't it? Of course Thorin was going to face him in battle, for revenge. I turned to Thorin, who was staring at the pale orc.
"Thorin?" I said softly. He turned to face me.
"Yes Spark?" he whispered.
"Y-you're gonna fight him, aren't you?"
"Of course."
"With me by your side."
"No, I won't let you lose your life over this."
"But you will risk your own? Don't you know that once you are gone, I have nothing to live for?"
"Your brother."
"I'll probably never speak to him!"
"I have to do this."
He walked toward Azog, who had a twisted grin on his face. A tear rolled down my cheek as I watched.
Thorin began the fight with a head on charge at the orc, who counterattacked with a blow to the face from his club. Thorin hit the ground, but was back up in a second, his face bloody.
Then, when he charge again, Azog's warg took him in its mouth around the abdomen. He cried out in pain and I saw no way he could survive if we didn't do something soon. The warg threw him, and Azog sent one of his servents to cut off his head.
I was up in an instant, but Bilbo got there first. He killed the orc that was about to cut off Thorin's head. I charged right at Azog, not caring that he shoved a spear through my side. I decapitated (beheaded) his warg, and I stabbed him in the stomach. Then I decapitated him too.
I ran back to Thorin, with the spear still in my side. When I got to him, all he could manage to say was, "What... happened... to... you?"
Then he passed out, and so did I, but Azog was dead, so we had nothing to worry about.
