i am sorry

I raise my wings and push down hard as i jump up. I land on top of the school. Quickly i find lizzy getting into a car behind the portables. I look for max and we meet eyes our powers help with the whole being  two story's higher.
I am going to follow the car i will tell you the directions as i go. I tell him telepathically. Without waiting for a response i leap off the roof and follow the car.
They stop outside a old abandoned house in the middle of the woods. 4 guys get out the guy who toke her originally and another boy about the same age. 2 boys who seem to be about 18 get out of the front seat.
I land lightly in the ground behind a row of trees about 10 feet away. I can feel my hands and feet start burning. I take a deep breath and my power switches from fire to ice. Maybe i can use this. I shift positions to get a better view.

i will have to be fast so i can get them all. with a fast swipe of my hand everyone freezes in place. thank goodness. i unfreeze Lizzy and we run. we don't get to far before they start chasing us because we are in dresses and Lizzy in heals.

we run down a gravel road. i nearly run right into max. "we got to move."

"alright but want to explain while we run."

"some guys toke me trying to get to angel. They definitely  know about her. And probably you too." Lizzy runs down the road behind us.

"how?" i ask.

"who knows but you were so right about him. is there any other mythical beings?" she answers as we turn left then quick right. 

"uh. well one angel, wizards like me, vampires, werewolf, mermaids-" 

i cut him off "werewolf's?"

"yea but not turning at full moon thing like actually being able to go from human to werewolf on command. they are terrible creatures that normaly work for leprechauns." he reply's. we are nearly out of the woods.

"wait." i stop running. "you mean the little green men who have pots of gold at the end of the rainbow?" Lizzy adds

"yea. that's how the appear. especially to mortals but that's not who they are, but we really have to keep going."

"no i am tired of running." i announce.

"we have only been running for like two minutes." Lizzy suggest.

"i have been running my whole life." i look from Lizzy to max.

"i get it. i have been hiding too." max takes my hand just as at least eight full grown wolfs skid to a stop. "Lizzy! behind us!"

i grab Lizzy and stand in front of her. i will fly behind them and attack from behind telepathy is awesome. i grab lizzy and try and fly. just so you know. she is a heavy 13 year old 8th grader. i make it to the top of the trees where i set lizzy to sit. "sit here and dont move tell i come get you."

"got it."

i free fall to the ground. thats when i find max pined on the ground with a wolf on top of him.

"hey! get off my boyfriend." i thrust a gust of wind with my wings and throw the wolfs against the tree lines. "max! are you ok?" 

"yea. i am fine." he claims standing up.

"for now. i knew there was something off with you." the boy from the dance declares. 

"max behind me." i state.

"don't pretend to protect him, we know he is a wizard."

"i never said he wasn't." i stomp and send a earthquake at them sending them flying on their back. frezzing seven down me and max tie the last against a tree. "alright so who are you guys working for? and how do you know about me?"

"why do you think i would tell you?"

"because if you dont tell us we will tie you to a top of a tree and leave you there." i respond.

"yea right." he claims.

"alright you asked for it." i pick him up and cary him to the top of the tree.

"hey put me down!" 

"alright." i let go. 

"wait. i didn't me that!" 

i drop down and catch him just before he hits the ground. "ready to talk?"

"Ok. look his name is Jackson. he is a centaur. his main hide out is the house down the road but if he is not there then behind the baseball field at your school. thats all i know can you let me down now?"

"not so fast sorry." i help max tie up all the guys to trees and he creates beer to place next to them to make it look like they were drinking under age.

"alright. lets go." i step back and admire our work.

"wait where is lizzy."

"i am up here!" lizzy yells from the top of the trees.

"oh crap." i fly up and grab her. 

"alright lets go see why this centaur guy needs you." max says as we walk away.

"but first we will need some help."
