(max pov)

I finally was shoved out of the hospital. Her dad is allowed to stay overnight so that's what he is going to do tell she is discharged. So now I go to Chases. I walk inside and unzip my sweat shirt. Peal my shirt off as I go into the bathroom and climb into the shower. I stand under the water as it flows over me. The rhythmic noise of the water splashing on the tile. It feels like forever before I turn off the shower. I walk out with my towel wrapped around my waist. I see Lizzy sitting on Chase's bed. When she sees it's me her face turns red and she buries it in her hands. I quickly put pants on before I even say anything.

"Sorry I thought you were Chase. He has been...distant...since I saved her." she says as I start pulling on my shirt.

"No problem." I sit next to her. "So what's up with you and Chase."

"I don't know. Has he said anything to you?" she looks at me.

"No. Hes just sacred. That's the second time you have had to do it. He is scared you are going to die." I look at her "He will understand. He is just scared."

"I know." she says getting up. "I just...I am just falling so hard for him."

"Really?" Chase asks from the hall.

"Chase! I..I didn't know you were here...I ju-" she studders

"I know." he walks towards her. "I have been wanting to do this since the moment you stepped out of that car." he leans down and the space between them vanishes. I walk past them smiling. I automatically get my shoes on. Lizzy and Chase come downstairs.

"Do you want lunch guys?" my mom says standing in the kitchen as chase's mom pulls a pizza out of the oven. I nod as we walk over to the kitchen. The three of us eat the whole pizza before leaving.

When we finally do get to the hospital Angel is starting to get up for the first time since everything. All sorts of things have been hooked up to her so she can get her strength back. so now she is unhooked and ready to start. I stand in the doorway as an intern helps her to the chair a few feet away. She smiles as she pants in the seat, happy with what she has done. I smile at her then she notices me. I can tell she wants to get up and hug me but, she is not strong enough yet. I go to her and help her up so I can hold her, I sit down and she sits on my lap in her hospital gown and rests her head against my chest.

"I love you." she says to me.

"I love you too." I say looking at her in the eyes. It was the first time we had said that to each other. She kisses me. I swope her up, putting her in a wheelchair.

"Are you sure your power isn't super strength." she says folding her hands in her lap

"I have told you already it's love, I am basically cupid." I smile her wheeling her around the floor.

Chases P.O.V.

I don't want to lose her. I don't want to end up holding her cold hand as she dies. I can't do that. I have fallen hard for a girl who as nearly died twice and saved her best friend. I fell hard for a girl who is my best friends girlfriends bestfriends. I am terrified of losing her, but if I lost her tomorrow I would have today to have her in my arms.

"I know you are scared of losing me, I am scared of losing you, but I am more scared of never having you." Lizzy says sitting next to me on the floor in the hall, giving Max and Angel time to be together.

"Do you think she is going to be okay?" I ask her.

"So far we all have been." she smiles resting her head on my shoulder.

"You guys can come with us if you want." Angel says on one of there rounds.

"Alright." I get up and reach down for lizzy's hand. "Shall we?"

"We shall." she stands.

We walk and talk for what feels like ever. We got hungry and ate from the hospital cafeteria with her aunt Sara and her dad. When we were done the four of us wandered around. After a while we notice Angel had fallen asleep. We walked back to her room where Max lifted her up and layed her on her bed. Lizzy helped him pull up her blanket.

"I can stay here if you want to sleep in your own bed." Lizzy says sitting next to the bed.

"I wish you could guys but, only family can be in here over night." a nurse says from the doorway. "which means only her dad and her aunt."

"It's weird to think they are the only ones left blood related to her." I say starting to the door.

The three of us leave. They have been crashing at my house for a while. To stay close to Angel tell shes gets discharged.

Angels Dad P.O.V.

"David?" Sara says bringing me out of my haze. "You ok?"

"Yea, what were you saying." I force myself back to reality.

"I think you should move here." she says from across the table.

"We can't just pick up our life right now. Lizzy is there, Max is there, memories of her mom is there."

"Lizzy and Max are constantly here. And with Lizzy and Chase datingish she will be here all the time. If you are worried about Angel missing memories of her mom don't forget who the town was named after." she looks at me in a way that makes me uncomfortable. "She needs this, she needs to hear about her mom."

"She needs structure, her life is wobbly right now."

"She needs you and Max but most of all she needs her mom."

"Her mom is gone. She was gone seven years ago." I bring myself to look at her.

"Her memory is here, she is still here until you let her go." she says. "Hey. I know how much you loved her, I know you still are in love with her, but she needs you to be there for your daughter, for Amber's daughter."

"When she is safe, out of the hospital, healthy." I smile. "We will move out here. But tell then she is my daughter not yours don't ever tell me how to raise her ever again." I walk away, back to angels room.
