The room was quiet when I took my seat at the table. Allesandro was sitting next to me while a man and a woman were sitting in the opposite side of us. I  assumed that they might be Allesandro's parents since there were certain physical traits that they shared between them.

His dad kept glaring at me as if he was trying to figure me out just by looking at me,  while his mom sat with crossed arms over the table, looking unimpressed.
She was a beautiful woman though, she looked to be in her late forties and that made me wonder when she might've had Allesandro since he didn't look a day older than twenty one. But hey,  who am I to judge, right?

"Mother, father,  this is Virgo. She will be assisting me in the situation," Allesandro started.  I was nervous to say the least but he didn't falter once .  His parents were both eyeing me warily before his mom spoke. "Do you honestly think this is the right girl  Rocco?"  Al's mom said still giving me the eye. Rocco, who am guessing is Al's dad sighed and rubbed his hands together. "Virgo you understand what is expected of you,  yes?" Rocco queried me.

"Yes I do," I replied weakly.  To be completely truthful, I was very intimidated by Allesandro's parents.  They both looked like high class people who meant nothing but pure busines and yet there I was,  a Highschool teenager who got herself involved with the wrong people .

Rocco and his wife looked at each other and gave a nod in confirmation. They both stood up simultaneously and pushed in their chairs and started walking away. Allesandro's mom stopped in her tracks and then looked to our side. "Allesandro don't mess this up again," she said with a glare and walked away, swaying her hips.

I heard Allesandro sigh and out of the corner of my eye is saw him rubbing his temples. "Fancy some real dinner?"  he asked and I smiled.

"I didn't get dressed up for nothing, now did I?"  I smiled and we made our way to the door.

The place Allesandro took me too was definite high class.  I couldn't pronounce the name of the place as it was all in Italian,  but when Allesandro said it,  it sounded well rounded and beautiful.

We made it to the enterance of the posh palace and we're immediately helped to our table. The waitress took us to a corner table for two and asked if we'd like anything to drink.  "I'd love some of your best wine please,"  and the wine I couldn't pronounce either.  I looked at him with wide eyes when I saw how expensive everything was,  especially the wine that he had chosen.

There was no use in trying to sound fancy,  so I went with some Cola tonic and lemonade - my favourite.  "I'd like some Cola tonic and lemonade please," I finished weakly and saw the waitress give me a link of dissaproval.

"Will that be all?" she asked in a patronizing manner, even though she must've only been a year or two older than me. I looked to Allesandro and he nodded at her.

When the waitress left, I decided to ask Allesandro about our agreement but he beat me to it. "Look," he sighed before continuing. "I know you might be confused about what is happening, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask," he ended off sincerely.

"You know,  you're pretty kind to be a Mafia boss,"  I began while smirking.  "If I didn't know any better I would've said that you're lying to me," I ended off smug. He looked a little surprised but regained his composure.

"Guess you'll never know, but if I were you I'd try not to take any chances. I might just be," he said.  That made me doubt if he was lying.  I could be playing with my life here.

"So, about our agreement. To be clear, you want me to help you win back your ex girlfriend Maya?" I asked curiously. He let out a deep breath and folded his arms over the table. "Yes, that is exactly it." he replied.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you and Maya break up?" maybe I had pushed too far, but I felt the urge to know. He looked pained and confused, but when I told him that it's okay if he doesn't want to answer, he answered any way.

"No, I guess you have to know. I can't have my fake girlfriend not knowing about my past now can I?"  he finished off with a grin. I felt a blush creep it's way to my face because it seemed like what he had said had a double meaning.

"To be completely frank with you,  it's not even like I know.  She broke up with me. I wanted to propose to her, but she broke it all off one day  before I even got the chance to ask her to marry me,"he finished while looking at the table.  I felt sorry for him. Maybe she was that bad,  how could you just break up with someone for no reason?

"Al, I'm sorry. I-I didn't realize,"  I bit my lip.  He looked into my eyes,  as if he was searching for something and I found myself caught in his.

They were beautiful.  Two beautiful green orbs of complete diversity. When my mom was alive, she used to tell me that the eyes of people are the most vulnerable part of person.  When I asked her why,  she said it's because no emotion can be faked when you're looking into someone's eyes.  And I could've sworn that I saw love and loss in his.

He was damaged,  and I guess I felt like I needed to fix him.

He gave me a sad smile and our drinks arrived.  We continued talkingfor what felt like hours.  Enjoying our meals and each others company.  Everything about our situation had been cleared and Allesandro told me that he'd tell me exactly what to do when Maya comes to the party that he was hosting tomorrow night.

When we were done with our meals we payed the bill and left the small restaurant. When we reached the car, Allesandro even opened the door for me.

"Why thank you, I never knew the mafia could be this polite?"  I said with fake sarcasm.
He is totally not part of the mafia.

"You'd be surprised,  when I was little my mom sent me to a 'gentlemans class' every week for about a month,"  he said.  I looked over to him and raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" I asked.  He gave me a dead look and brought his head closer to mine.
"No," he simply whispered.  I laughed and shook my head.

I failed to recognize how close we were to each other until I saw those orbs again, and I felt paralyzed under his stare.  He was looking intently into my eyes, and I found myself looking at his lips by accident.

"I forgot to tell you how beautiful you looked tonight,"  he whispered and I couldn't suppress the smile I had been holding back. He gave me a breathtaking smile and I felt butterflies all over.  My palms were sweaty and I was sure he could hear my heart booming in my chest.

He looked at my lips and back to my eyes and I felt like the tension between us seemed to grow every second.
I'd easily blame it on the euphoria of the moment but I couldn't help it.

I wanted to kiss him, but he beat me to it.
