The kiss was nothing that I'd expected to be, not that I ever imagined us kissing. It was soft and gentle, as if I were porcelain and he was afraid of me breaking into a million pieces.
I was completely paralyzed as soon as his lips were on mine and I almost felt suffocated. The suffocation wasn't because of him, but because of the pressure and tension I felt between us. I knew he never meant to kiss me, it must've only been driven by sadness or hurt. And that made me mad.
It didn't last very long. Not that I'd have any experience but I knew that make out sessions must've been longer than this. He pulled away as soon as I tried kissing him back and regained his composure quite nicely while I was left flustered and probably as red as a tomato.
The drive home was quite. Both of us refusing to talk about what happened between us as the silence hang in the air troughout the whole car ride.
When we got back to the mansion, things that happened during the car ride didn't quite differ. He was taking off his coat when I decided to speak. "Allesandro, please if we are going to do this, I need to know what's going on," I said while slowly walking to him. When he didn't reply, "Why did you kiss me?" he froze. Maybe I did go to far.
Or not, I have every right to know why he kissed me. Allesandro kept staring forward as if he was caught in a trance. "Why'd you enjoy it?" he spoke more to himself than to me, and my breath hitched. "Lets just forget about it. It didn't mean anything anyway," he said hastily and I felt my heart sink. He does have a point though, it didn't meant anything. Or atleast that's what I kept telling myself.
"Goodnight Virgo," and with that he left, never once sparing even a hint of a glance.
