Chapter 21: Love in Darkness

Yoshima's P.O.V

I watched as Naruto jumped at Madara. A part in my heart was screaming no, and another part was thankful he was going down.

Naruto couldn't hit Madara. It was as if there was an invisible field.

My eyes widened as Naruto got blasted away. Maybe there is.

"In that case... I'm sure your left eye will fit me perfectly!" Madara quickly made his way towards Sasuke and I jumped down.

I closed my eyes as the sound of piercing flesh filled my ears. I looked up to see Madara towering over me as a katana blade was in the middle of his chest.

"M-Madara!" I said nervously and he looked at me as his eye twitched. He looked possessed. I wanted to help him.

"Didn't I tell you Naruto and I could handle this?" I heard Sasuke say as Naruto pulled me back.
"Sasuke, you can't control this situation like she can. If you kill Madara, and he doesn't learn, it will repeat until he learns." Rin said to Sasuke who furrowed his eyebrows.
"You can't repeat something if your dead." Sasuke spat at his sister.
"Father's dead, but clearly something's being repeated." Rin furrowed her eyebrows and crossed her arms.

"Ouch." Madara said earning a glare from Sasuke. Madara quickly pulled out the katana out of his chest.

"Wait." Sasuke said to Rin as Chidori formed in the palm of his hand and Naruto had some type of Rasengan.

"Naruto! Throw that towards me!" Sasuke yelled and Rin's face paled.
"No! Naruto! If you kill Sasuke, I'll turn like him! The cycle!" Rin yelled.
"Is that so bad?" Sasuke pushed her out of the way smirking as Naruto and him lunged towards each other.

Madara appeared in between them and he got caught in the Justu.

"How the hell-"
"It's Sasuke. We don't know what he'll do next." Rin said holding me back.

"We both know he won't die from that." Rin whispered in my ear.

"Continue." Sasuke said to Rin and she started to rant.
"Madara was dead, but you are turning out to be like him and father!" Rin yelled.
"Are you implying I'm like that low life Uchiha?!" Sasuke yelled.

"Hey! That's my lowlife Uchiha! Don't disrespect him!" I yelled.

"Guys..."
"Not now Naruto!"

"Sasuke, you still are probably going to try to destroy the leaf. Don't convince me you've changed! You killed Itachi!"
"By accident! Actually he planned it! No matter what, he'd find a way to get me to have killed him! You wanted to kill him too!"
"Maybe I really did, but if I faced him, I would see him. Not that person who killed that family." Rin growled.

"MADARA'S GONE!" Naruto yelled and we saw an outline of where Madara last was.

"Shadow Madara." Sasuke stared at the invisible Madara shaped figure that was sealed in front of Naruto.

"Madara's getting away!" Naruto yelled and Sasuke quickly ran.

"Don't follow me!" Sasuke yelled to me as if I was an annoying younger. Okay. I know I'm annoying but he doesn't have to act like I am.

I bit my lip and stared at Sasuke who chased after Madara. I watched Madara steal the eye of the man I believe who was named Kakashi.

"Madara!" I yelled and I gripped his arm.
"Get off me!" He said in an annoyed tone. I don't care anymore. I need to grow up and show him I'm not gonna tolerate with his jerkiness no more.

I watched Sasuke as he came to Madara with his Katana. I still kept my grip on Madara's arm and jumped missing the blade. Madara was cut in half.

"You deserved that you know!" I yelled at him angrily and he stared me dead in the eye.

"Yoshima! You have to stop him! Don't let him get away!" Sasuke yelled as Madara brought me into a different dimension with him and I did not let go of his arm.

"Sakura!" I gasped as she held a Kunai in her hand as Obito kneeled before her.
"I won't let you!" Madara yelled and threw the rod at her.
"No!" I yelled and Sakura quickly disappeared.

Madara tried to push me onto the ground but I was like a cat. I'm not letting go.

He dug his hand in Obito's chest and I stared Madara down. It was half his body. I wanted to cry, but I had to show him that I was done playing.

No more jokes. No more tricks. Nothing.

Madara started to explain his plan and how he used Obito. I stared at him in disbelief.

"No... NO!" I screamed and quickly gripped Madara's neck.

"Why? Why did you turn out like this? Using people? Tricking people? Making people feel like they're nothing?! That's not you! You had the perfect life." I yelled.
"Where were brothers? Where were my parents?! WHERE WAS SHIZUKO?!" Madara yelled emphasizing Shizuko's name.
"Where were my brothers?! My dad?! MY MOM?! You act like your life was complete shit when I'm here still scared by the fact you killed my mom. MY MOTHER! THE WOMAN WHO BROUGHT ME INTO THIS WORLD! YET I STILL LOVED YOU!" I yelled at him and I could tell he got angrier.

"YOU HELPED ME GET STRONG! I BECAME STRONG TO IMPRESS YOU! DON'T YOU REMEMBER?!" I yelled at him. On his wrist I realized the bracelet. I held it up.

"Stop this. Stop all of this and let's return back. Where we belong. How I feel for you, it won't change... Madara... Please..." I stared at him and he stared at me with a tint of guilt in his eyes.

I stared at him waiting for his response. His arm wrapped around my waist and my heart fluttered.

"I love you too Yoshima. I want you. I still want you."

I looked up at him and smiled. I finally got to him.

"But... No. I'm not returning. Stay with me. We'll be together forever. I promise." He said as his eyes pierced through me. He softly kissed my cheek. His lips weren't full of love. They were cold.

This is not the type of love I wanted... Love in darkness.
