Chapter 35: Final Decision

Yoshima's P.O.V

I searched for Madara every where.

The Uchiha household.
The Senju household.
The Ramen Shop.

I even asked the village guards if he left the village.  He's done it so much you just got to check he didn't leave.

So Madara declined being Hokage...  Maybe something Hokage related?

He wouldn't be in the Hokage office..  That'd be pretty dumb.

"Now I know..."  I tilted my head smiling wickedly at the Hashirama's big face cliff side.

I could see a porcupine on top of Hashirama's head.

"There you are!"  I ran quickly towards my porcupine. I jumped up to him and he was shocked to see me.

"Madara!" I landed on top of him.
"Yo..Yoshima... You are heavy..." He coughed out and a vein on my forehead throbbed. I heard him laugh as I got off of him. I sat beside him and blushed. He looked really adorable laughing.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked him.
"Everything's perfect. I have my family, friends, my most favourite person in the world right here..." He turned to stare at me and I smiled.
"Buuuutttttt wouldn't being Hokage make it completely perfect?" I asked him.
"I don't deserve it. With everything I've-"
"Madara... You've done a lot in the past but that was then. You changed. Back then, everything you did was because you were hurt. So much things just were so painful for you. I understand. But now is different, you are different. You are perfect for the role of Hokage. You should definitely become it." I said with confidence.
"What if-"
"You won't. Don't think about negativity. Only think positive. Everyone in this village is trusting you with their lives and safety. You should feel honoured." I said and he gave a soft smile looking below.
"Trust..." He softly said and I smiled.
"Tobirama is okay with you being Hokage for god's sake!" I laughed and he nodded.
"True.  It's quite strange."
"Let's go back." I said getting up.

"What took you guys so long?!" Yuki tugged on my Yukata looking up at Madara and I. Madara had his arm wrapped around my waist.
"We were talking." I smiled ruffling her hair.
"More like making-" Tobirama was cut off by Miwa covering his mouth.
"Not in front of the children!" Miwa said. Tobirama shrugged and the two walked away.

Hashirama came towards us.

"Madara-"
"I am the next Hokage. I've decided." Madara said determined.
Hashirama sweat dropped a bit scared, "Demanding..."
