Chapter 37: The New Hokage

Yoshima's P.O.V

"It seems pretty early to, but I'm giving up my position as Hokage."  Hashirama said as he stood on top of the Hokage building.  Many people expressed how upset they were from the sounds they made.

I just smiled awkwardly holding Yuki and Kuro's hands staring at my eldest brother.

"But I've found someone better suit for this position."  Madara...

"Mommy..  When is daddy gonna come?  Uncle Hashirama is boring."  Yuki whispered tugging on my skirt.

"YEAH!  BRING OUT THE TRUE HOKAGE!"  Kuro yelled at Hashirama putting his fist in the air and my eyes widened as all eyes were on us.  I saw angry ones, sad one, and laughing ones.

"YEAH BRING HIM OUT!"  Izuna appeared beside Kuro with his fist in the air.

"BRING OUT MY SON!"  Madara's mother appeared.

"BRING OUT MY BOY!"  Madara's father appeared.

I looked at them in confusion.  This is my family too isn't it..  huh..

"Mind my family.  They are excited for the next Hokage.  They are happy that I've been Hokage, they are just bringing a warm welcome to the next."  Hashirama awkwardly laughed.

"NO ONE LIKES YOU!!!" Izuna yelled.
"LEAVE!!!!"  Kuro yelled.

I hung my head down in depression and Hashirama did the same.

"He still doesn't love me..." Hashirama anime cried.

"CONTINUE WITH YOUR SPEECH HASHIRAMA!  HAHAHA!"  My father was laughing.  He was probably so frustrated that Madara was taking the Hokage position from Hashirama to the point he was laughing.

"This man founded this village with me and has been a best friend to me even though our clans were best of enemies.  Actually..  He is my best friend and he still is my enemy. We work to be stronger than each other each day.  He was brought from a beautiful family and got married to my sister and had a handsome boy and adorable daughter."  Hashirama said with a smile on his face.

I looked down at Kuro and Yuki who were blushing madly.  I was too.

I looked at Madara's family.  They were blushing.  Hashirama has everyone blushing.

"I guess you can say we are brothers.  He got lost on his path many times but in the end, he found the light.  His love story will be an interesting one that will be told for the ages.  His success will live on forever.  It's been an honour serving you as Hokage, but this man deserves it more than me.  He will guarantee your safety and lead the village into a bright future."  I could tell Hashirama was thinking about the memories.

"Now..  To bring him out..  The 2nd Hokage of the Villlage Hidden in the leaves is the one and only Madara Uchiha!"  Hashirama cheered.

Everyone started to cheer and Madara appeared.  Our eyes immediately met and he blushed.

"DAD!!!!"  Kuro cheered.
"DADDY!!!" Yuki cheered.

I smiled at him.  He finally has gotten where he has always wanted to be.  He is surely amazing and I'm happy that he's found himself.  I love this man more than anything.

The cheering died down.  It was time for Madara to say his speech or say a few words.  He looked so nervous.

He cleared his voice.
"Thank you.  I've learned so much which has gotten me here.  The most important lesson I've learned is that, you are stronger with the help and support from the people around you."  Madara continued staring at me with the most warmest and softest smile.  My heart was melting.

"Together we can make this village into a strong, and powerful empire so our children and grandchildren will be safe for ages to come."  Madara said confidently.

Silence.

"I LOVE YOU!!!"  I cheered and everyone started to cheer after that. 

This was all so amazing.

"PARTY TIME!!!"  Hashirama yelled holding a bottle of sake.
