>> HARMONY
"Enjoy your third week of school, honey!" My mom yelled from the car.
"Thanks...mom." I awkwardly walked away.
I walked inside looking for Kennedy and Brianna. I looked perfect today. It took me 5 clothing changes but I finally found a black and white striped t-shirt dress that I had in my closet from last year.
I walked in to see Derrick.
"Oh, hey, Derrick-" I happily said, but was cut off by my sight.
I saw him up against a wall with another girl. Another girl? Their faces were close together and Derrick had his hands resting on her butt.
Jealousy filled my body.
I clenched my fists and walked over to Derrick and tapped his shoulder.
"Oh hey Derrick." I falsely smiled.
"Harmony!" He looked away from the girl and Z looked back at me.
"Um, who is she." I pointed to the girl.
"Oh, this is just Ja'naye." He grabbed her by her waist.
"Oh, just one of your friends." I bit my lip.
"Yeah...I guess you can call it that kind of relationship." He smirked.
"Well, you didn't call me yesterday? Are you upset?" I asked.
"No, I was just busy." He smirked and looked back at Ja'naye.
"My house 7pm." His voice spoke so low and soothing.
She nodded and giggled down the hallway.
"What's up, Harm?" He reached his arm to pull me closer and I stepped back.
"What? Don't like my hugs?" He said, raising an eyebrow.
"No it's just, you were all up on that girl and now you want to hug me." I glared.
"So, she's just a friend." He scoffed.
"Friends don't hold their faces close to each other's and squeeze each other's butt." I basically screamed. "And what do you mean 'my house 7pm'?"
"We can't study?" He sighed.
"Oh yeah..study." I said sarcastically.
"Don't believe me come over and study with us, since your so obsessed with me." He smirked.
"I am not obsessed about you...but I'll be there." I rolled my eyes.
He scoffed walking away with his hand in his pockets.
He can be so mysterious at times.

Surely, 7pm was here and I was knocking at his door. His house was huge! No wonder why he's always coming to school in brand names.
I knocked on the door and a girl who I guess to be his older sister answered the door.
"Hello?" She said, looking at her nails.
"Um. I'm Harmony..I came to see Derrick." I awkardly smiled.
"Oh...ok one second." She looked back. "DERRICK! YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS HERE!" She yelled.
Girlfriend?
He rushed downstairs. "Dy'ashia! I told you not to call her that."
Dy'ashia just shrugged and walked off.
Derrick opened the door."You actually came." He smiled.
"Yeah, can't wait to get our study on." I said awkwardly.
"Don't say that.." Derrick sighed.
"Ok." I looked down.
"But Harmony, you can follow me." He opened the door, letting me in, shutting it right behind me.
His house was just as huge from the outside. I looked around in awe. My house was nice but it only had one floor.
"Derrick. You didn't tell me that you were having company over tonight." Derrick's father said.
"Dad," Derrick groaned. "This is Harmony."
"Well, hello Harmony!" Derrick's dad chuckled and shook my hand.
"So do you guys 'go out?" Derrick's dad whispered.
"What? No...Dad!" Derrick sighed, and looked down. "Come on Harmony."
Derrick took me by his hand and led me upstairs to his room.
He really must like basketball because his room was orange with a black trim and he had basketball trophies everywhere.
"So, what are we going to study first?" I awkwardly sat on his bed.
"What about chemistry?" He smirked, tossing his basketball in the air.
"Very funny, and speaking about chemistry, where's Ja'naye?" I rolled my eyes.
"Looks like someone's jealous." Derrick snickered. "And plus she's not coming."
"I am not jealous over a guy who is not even mines yet." I scoffed.
"Yet?" He stopped tossing his ball and looked back at me.
"I didn't mean it like that." I scratched my neck in awkwardness.
He walked towards me. He lifted my chin lightly and smirked.
"Your beautiful, always keep your head up." He said, his voice soothing and low again.
His slowly put his lips on mine. Was this finally the kiss I was looking for? Perfect guy, right?
He lightly laid me down on his surprisingly super comfortable bed and started to straddle me. The awkwardness was starting to come back to me as I covered my face.
But then everything froze when the sound of his door opened.
"DERRICK DA'VON CHARLES!"
