Gina came back to the room with pillows and blankets."Are you sure you guys want to stay over? I don't want to seem too needy," She tells us.
"Well of course we're staying over! What kind of friends would we be if we didn't?" Madison rolls her eyes playfully.
"Hey! I know what we can do to make you better!" I exclaim. "Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Makeover time!" We yell in unison and then burst into a fit of giggles.
"I'll get the makeup!"
"I'll get the nail polish!"
We all scramble around collecting the necessary ingredients for the bomb of outrageous that is about explode in Gina's room. Then we all sit in a circle, and decide to work on the person to our right. I get Avery. Gina is to my left so she gets to work on me.
"Alright, give me your claws," I grin at Avery, holding out my hand for hers.
"Oh no, I'm scared!" She giggles, but holds out her hand for me to paint it. I go with black first, and then a sophisticated streak of blue right down the middle.
"What do you think?" I ask.
"Wow! It's... Outrageous!" Avery shrieks and dances around the room.
"Avery, chillax! I haven't even done your makeup! Sit back down, girl," I laugh. Avery rolls her eyes at me before she plops down next to me.e
Meanwhile, Gina is braiding my fhair, and adding in fake flowers fohere and there. Super cute.
Avery so far has given Madison smokey eyes and Madison put Gina's hair up in a bun.
Gina's mom comes in then and offers us some snacks. Gina's mom is pretty cool, she's the kind of person you could really talk to about anything and not feel weird about it.
"Remember to stay hydrated, girls!" She flashes a smile and hands out waters. She's very good at making things like drinking water look cool because she used to be in a lot of commercials. Then she moved to being a real actress when she met Gina's dad, who is a movie producer.
"Thanks mom!" Gina chirps.
"Alright well I'll be downstairs if you need anything girls."
"Thank you Mrs. Moore."
"Goodbye mom," Gina rolls her eyes.
A complete hour later the makeovers are complete, and we look amazing.
My hair is braided, and my face is sparkly with glitter and highlight. Avery's hair is straightened, and Madison looks like the hot version of Maleficent. Gina
"Omigosh we need a picture!" Gina squeals. We all gather up to take a picture on Gina's phone.
"Ew delete it I look gross!" Madison groans.
"Shut up, you look great!" I laugh. "If anything you should delete it because your finer is in the way, Gina."
"Fine. Just one more picture," Gina says. We end up taking seven more pictures before we take one we're all happy with.
"Oh gosh, I'm beat," Gina yawns. "I think I'm gonna go hit the hay."
"Excuse me? What about the movie?" Madison pouts.
We end up watching the Titanic, because Avery hasn't seen it yet for some reason.
One by one we all fall asleep, until I am the last one awake. I decide to text Jack good night, though I doubt he'd be awake at this hour.
I should sleep, I have school tomorrow...Just as I am about to drift to sleep, I feel my phone buzz. It's a text from Jack wishing me good night. Why is he still awake?
I shouldn't worry too much about it, it's not a big deal, but I can't help but but notice an unsettling feeling in my stomach.
