Enzo hands me back my phone.
"Thanks" I mumble. Not knowing what else to say, and feeling extremely shy.
"Anytime ma." He says while reaching his hand out. "How you doin? My name is Eric, but everyone knows me by Enzo Amore."
"I know. I've been watching you." Wait, did I say that out loud?? "Uh- I mean I've been watching your work..of course in a non-stalking way. I don't stalk cause it's weird. I really admire you!"
"Aliyah!! Stop rambling!!" Says my brain. "Take a deep breath and start over."
At this point I realized that I hadn't even shook his STILL outstretched hand. Blue eyes piercing into my dark brown ones. Taking a deep breath, I extend my hand and shake his.
"What I MEANT to say was, hi. My name is Aliyah." Has he been smirking at me this whole time??
"Nice to meet you, Aliyah. That's quite a beautiful name, for a beautiful girl." Oh crap. Enzo Amore just called me beautiful!!
Staring down at the ground , I mumble, "Thanks" again. Apparently it's the only word I know.
"Hey", says Enzo, "can I have the pleasure of getting the beautiful girls number?" Holy crap is he asking for my number now?? I'm gonna faint..
"Yeah, of course!" He proceeds to unlock his phone and hands it to me to put my number in.
"Thank you." He says when I hand it back to him. "Well, once again, it was nice to meet you. I gotta get going now, Big Cass and I go on next."
"Yeah, it was nice meeting you as well!" I say back to him
"Well, Aliyah", he put emphasis on my name, "stay sexy not SAWFT." He the proceeds to wink at me before finally turning and walking away.
I let out my breath I wasn't aware I've been holding in this whole time. Holy crap did that just happen?? Enzo Amore called me beautiful, more than once, AND asked for my number. Could this day get ANY better? Just then my phone buzzes. I look and it's a text from an unknown number. But it reads:
"Bumping into you was the highlight of my day. Hopefully I can take you on a date soon and get to know you more. Later, ma" Oh crap, he texted me. And him calling me ma is sexy as hell, might I add!
They say be careful what you wish for. I need to lie down..I think I'm going to faint if I don't!
