Chapter 4

"No. Way." I am currently in the locker room with my best friend, Stephanie, telling her everything that just happened.

"I know!! I can't believe it either!"

As I said above, Stephanie is my best friend, and we've been through this wrestling shenanigans together. We also debuted at the same time.☺️ How did we meet? Funny story- It was on Twitter, & our common interest? Enzo Amore😂

"Well. I'm super excited for you!! Have you texted him back??" She asks me

"No." I say shyly

"And why not?!?" Stephanie is practically yelling at me now

"I didn't know what to respond.." Which is true, I didn't know what to say. I couldn't say, "Thanks" again.

"And plus, I've waited too long now" I continue

"Ugh, sometimes you just..." She never finishes her sentence, and she's shaking her head at me, but I know what she means

"I love you too" I say smiling really big, and she couldn't help but smile back.

"I really am happy for you, Aliyah." Stephanie says while hugging me. "And since Enzo is taken now, do you think Cass is available??"

I laugh, "I'm not sure but I'll ask Zo for ya"

"Haha thanks! Well, I'm gonna go now, but if anything else happens, you let. Me. Know. ASAP."

I salute her, "Aye, aye, captain!" Steph then gives me one last smile and leaves.

So now here I am in the locker room, alone with my thoughts. Is it REALLY too late? Or do I still have time to text him back? I could lie and say that I was busy..🤔 Oh whatever, I don't care. Here goes nothing..

To Zo:
Hey! Sorry it took so long to respond, I didn't really know what to say..I'm still pretty shocked by everything haha but yeah, of course I'd love to go on a date with you! Just let me know when, and I'm there!

Honesty is the best policy, right? I waited for what seemed like an eternity before I finally got a response back.

From Zo:
Sounds like a date, ma! I'll let you know all the details and everything later! Oh! And send me your address, cause I'm going to pick you up😘

He's such a gentlemen. And I'm already in love with him, because I'm a huge fan, but he doesn't know that. And hopefully he won't. I don't want to scare him off already. I proceed to send him my address and he said that he's going to pick me up around 8:00 on Friday night.

What started to be a normal day, turned into the best day of my life. And what's crazy is, he chose ME of all people...of all the other beautiful divas here in NXT.

So this is it..my biggest fantasy is actually happening.
