Chapter 21

"Hi" Elliot and Ezekiel muttered at the same time. I wanted to giggle but my façade restricted me from doing so. They nodded at each other in acknowledgement and then walked in. Elliot looked at me and extended his hand.

"Elliot, and you?" He asked politely. I reluctantly shook his hand and introduced myself. "I'm Cara," I said. The moment our hands came in contact it was like something inside me sparked. Not the kind between mates but the kind of spark which is like an indication.

He looked at me funnily. "Are you a witch?" He asked. I raised my hand and snapped my fingers. The door shut on its own. "I hope that answers your question" I smirked and without glancing at him, walked away. As I was looking around I banged into Ethan. He looked more ruggedly handsome now. He looked at me and smirked.

"It's an honour to meet a beauty like yourself. I'm prince Ethan," he said chattily. It felt weird to have someone like a younger brother flirt with you. "Cara," I said and continued walking around. He stepped into my way once again but before I could tell him to fuck off someone else did.

He stepped in with a bottle of beer in one hand and an iPhone in the other. "Leave the girl alone, will you sweetheart?" he smiled at Ethan. Ethan glared at him and then looked at me. "Ignore the delusional child. You can't blame him. Who wouldn't want a piece of this?" He pointed to himself cockily.

I rolled my eyes and replied. "Me" I smiled. Burn, bitch. He chuckled and walked away awkwardly. "I'm Arrow. Arrow Kingston. Tatiana's brother" he introduced. I shook his hand and introduced myself as well.

"If you don't mind me asking," I said, "Who is Tatiana?" He looked at me and then grinned. With a wicked look he pulled me forward and both of us entered into the main hallway. Arrow wore black jeans with a grey button down shirt and red vans. I heard screaming and breaking of plates and glasses. What the hell is going on?

Someone was screeching and yelling all at once. We entered the room next to Elliot's to see a beautiful brunette crying and throwing things around. She looked about my age and her eyes were blood red due to the tears. "What happened, sis?" Arrow asked. She looked at him and burst out into tears again. "Elliot didn't say good morning to me! He doesn't like me anymore!" She sobbed.

The moment I heard her I wanted to burst our laughing but at the same time my blood started boiling. As if noticing my presence she straightened up and glared at me. "Who are you?" she asked in a very hostile manner. "I'm Cara. And watch your tone, honey" I smiled sarcastically. I may not love Elliot and may not be with him right now but I still own his ass.

Arrow showed me my room which was next to Tatiana's. Yay.... "So your sister is dating the king?" I asked emotionlessly. He shrugged. "I don't know. Tatia came here to be trained to be an Alpha but she ended up sleeping with his highness so I don't know. He isn't serious about her for sure," he grinned. I grinned back in relief and began looking around.

"So what are you doing here?" he asked after a while. "I'm on vacation. Ezekiel promised my parents to find a suitor for me but he only lied so that I can have fun" I smirked. He laughed and told me about himself and what he was doing here at Xandine castle.

I looked around at the room. It was beautiful. Peach walls, black leather couches and glass tables and closets but it didn't seem like home. It didn't feel like Elliot. "You need to stop taking my name!" Kiel groaned. I giggled when I remember the fact that he appeared whenever his name was taken.

He seemed so relaxed now. When we were alone, he was always on guard. But now he's with his family; broken but still together. "Have you met Tatiana?" I asked. He looked at me and gave me the I know what you're thinking look. "She seems like a nice young lady" he smirked. I rolled my eyes.
