Chapter 20

Months later ...

Amelia.

I'm pretty sure the baby was due today. I kept on having contractions but I knew it wasn't time yet.

"Bry. I think it's time." I said as I could feel my water break. The pain got worse.

Bryson jumped out of bed so quick and threw on some sweatpants and a shirt. Meanwhile me? I was in pajamas.

By the time we had gotten to the hospital it was 3:45am. I literally could not take it anymore. They had gotten me into a room and waited for the contractions to get worse before delivering.

"Get this damn baby out of me!" I screamed as I couldn't take the pain anymore. Bryson was holding onto my hand.

"Breath in and out A. You'll be okay."

"Shut the fuck up." I said even though I still did what he said.

He just looked at me and smiled.

An hour went by and I was finally able to deliver.

It took about four to five pushes to get her out, but once she came I had forgotten about everything.

Harley Tiller.

She was such a beautiful baby girl. I couldn't wait to bring her home. To her nursery and everything.

Bryson.

This was the most exciting day ever. I finally had a daughter. One to call my own. One that I made. I couldn't just be more happy.

"Look how cute she is B." Amelia said as she was holding Harley.

"Beautiful." I said as I stroked her hair.

I took a picture of Harley and her. Sending it to my grandma and other family members.

Days passed on as Amelia was still in the hospital after a couple of things happened with her after she gave birth. But she was doing just fine.

I sat with her day and night checking if she was okay.

Soon there was a knock at the door.

"Come in" I said.

Speaking of the devil.

It was Kayla. She had come with a teddy bear, a gift bag and a card.

I stood up and walked over to her.

"How did you find me... Us?"

"Your grandma." She said

"Oh."

"Where's Harley?" She said as she put the bags down.

"In the nursery area. You have to ask Amelia permission. She's sleeping right now so you can't." I said as I just looked into her eyes.
