[Hello, I apologize for how short the last chapter was this one will be better I promise k bye]

PHIL POV

The door to the shop jingled open. Phil had been rearranging a few flower pots, meaning his hands would get completely muddy.

"Dammit..." Phil hissed as he rubbed his hands on his already dirty shirt and hurried to the front of the shop.

"We have no more tulips and there is a sale on begonias." Phil hurriedly says, tapping buttons on the register.

The brown haired teenager blinks, surprised a bit by his busy behavior.

"Actually, we aren't here to buy flowers." PJ says. Phil looks up and sighs.

"No, we aren't open on Memorial Day. Or January 30th." Phil says, about to trot into a dark room full of flower pots.

"But sir! Sir, wait!" The boy beside PJ exclaims.

"Boys, I'd love to chat but I need to clean up," Phil said, turning with his hands raised a bit.

"Are you hiring?" The brown haired boy squeaked suddenly. Phil flipped his fringe away from his eye and made complete eye contact with him. The teen's irises turned into a dark ring around his pupils as they looked each other in the eyes.

"S-Sure. Come with me and you can apply." Phil's responsibilities had been completely forgotten about as he whisked the boy into his office for an interview.

"Hello, I'm Mr. Lester." Phil said to the boy, his index finger rapping the desk they were sat at. The boy nodded and said, "My name is Dan. So you are hiring, right?"

Phil nods and smiles. "Yes, I'd like to interview you, Dan."
He pulled out a small notepad and a red pen.

"Why do you want to work here?" Phil asks, studying Dan's face. Dan smiles and says, "That is easy! Flowers are literally my aesthetic!" He looked happy, at home. Comfortable. Was Dan always like this? Or was it the environment? Was it Phil?

Phil chuckled and nodded, writing down his answer.

"Well, you're obviously still in school and I haven't the time to work fully on the weekend, so how would you feel about working then?" Phil asks Dan with interest.

Dan nods and says, "I don't see why not." Phil smiles and tells Dan what times he will work.

"You can come in on Friday after class. Bring an extra set of clothes unless you want to dirty up that cute sweater." Immediately after Phil said that, he cleared his throat and said, "Thank you for coming in," and replaced the notepad in his pocket.

Dan sighed and smiled, relieved that the interview had went well. He stood and walked out of the room, Phil discreetly watching. He saw his former customer, PJ, elbow Dan in the side playfully, Dan blushing and looking down. This would be... Interesting.
