the sacred island(part 1)

No one's POV

Before the sun came out, people were already out in the castle gardens. Natsu, Gray, Lyon and Sting were arguing, Elfman and Freed chatting about being a man, Rogue was talking to Kagura, and Juvia was staring at Gray.

On the other side of the gate, Minerva and Yukino were talking with Lucy, where Meredy, Ultear, and Mira were discussing ships with Hibiki trying to flirt with them, while Jellal, Laxus, Jura and Erza  tried to organize everyone. But worse of all, Gajeel and Levy were in a heated argument.

"Why is a shrimp coming with us?" Gajeel said.

"Because I am smart! And stop calling me shrimp!" Levy said trying to hit his head.

"Too short shrimp. Gihi." Gajeel said lifting Levy up to eye level and started teasing her as she flailed around trying to get free.

"Why are you so horrible to me?" Levy asked, stopping her flailing and looked him in the eyes.

"U-uh-" Have said, or stuttered.

"Ew! There are other people here too ya know!" Meredy shouted while covering her eyes.

" Way to ruin the moment." Mirajane sighed.

"Quiet!" Laxus yelled.

"Jellal is trying to say something, so all of you shut up!" Erza yelled at everyone.

"Guys! Sorry we're late!" Cheila said running up with Wendy behind her.

"I already told father that we are leaving." Jellal said before he left to go to the port with Erza and Laxus beside him, and everyone else following him.

Jellal's POV

Reaching the port, I showed my ID, and we got on a ship.

"Where are we going?" Lyon asked.

" You'll see." I said.

*Timeskip*

Everyone was on the boat headed for Dragon's Perch, a island owned by Fairy Tail. All the s-class exams before were held in other countries, but this year it is different.

"Uh! How much longer? I think Natsu might throw up! " Lucy said. Since the exam includes three parts, Lucy, along with Levy,  Yukino, and Juvia are coming along as medics.

"We're here!" Erza said. A few kilometers across, you can see an island in the middle of the ocean. Climbing to the top of the deck, I coughed to get everyone's attention.

"Welcome to the first test of the s-class exams. Your first examinator will be me." I said whiling pointing to me.

"The first test will be testing your overall skills. On the top of the island (like the tree of Tenroujima) there is a shrine made for Fairy Tail's founder, Mavis Vermillion. There are twelve competitors. 6 will start with light scrolls, and the other 6 will start with dark scrolls." I handed Sting, Lyon, Hibiki, Ultear, Gajeel and Rogue dark scrolls, and gave Natsu, Meredy, Millianna, Elfman, Gray and Freed light scrolls.

"To win, you must have one light scroll, and one dark scroll, and reach the shrine. I, along with the other s-class knights will be waiting there." I continued on.

"So out of the 12 of us, only 6 will continue to the next round." Freed said.

"Correct. Take this chance to eliminate your competitors, and find their weaknesses." As I finished speaking, we reached the island.

" One of the s-class knights will bring you to a different part of the island. The exam will start at the same time for everyone." After I finished talking, I began my walk to the the shrine. Let's see who will pass the first round.

Lyon's POV

Yay! Meredy is here! Now I can pass this test, and prove myself worthy to her!

"Meredy-chan, you look stunning today." I said.

"Uh, thanks? I'm wearing dented armor." She said. I just got shot down. But never fear, I will not give up!

" You look good in anything Meredy-chan!" I said.

"Thanks! Your really awesome, you know?" Meredy said. Score! I just got praised! We talked for a while, until we reached the island.

"Good luck! See you at the finish line." Meredy said as she walked away.

"Lyon, let's go." Jellal said.

Meredy's POV

Here I am, with Jura-san bringing me to my assigned spot.

"You are Meredy Milkovioch right?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Huh. Lyon talks about you a lot." Jura-san said.

"Really!?" I asked. He nodded his head.

*Elsewhere*

Natsu's POV

Finally! By the end of this exam, I will be an s-class knight! Then I will beat Laxus and Erza! Speaking of Erza, I wonder what's up with her. She looks like she is daydreaming.

"Oi Erza, aren't you suppose to tell me the details on this event?" I asked.

"No. I cannot reveal anything else." She answered. Darn! If I can't win, how the heck am I suppose to impress Lucy!

" You want to impress Lucy?" Erza asked. Shoot! I said it out loud.

" No!" I replied. No one can know!

"Natsu, are you lying to me?" She asked glaring at me. Darn!

"Uh-" before I can reply, Erza interrupted me.

"It's okay. For now." She said still glaring at me.

"If you ever hurt her, I will make sure you will never, ever set the sun. Ever again! Got it!" She said pressing her sword to my neck.

"Y-yes M'am!" Who's she talking about? Who cares! She is scary! Without another word, we walked and reached my assigned spot.

"Good luck." Erza said.

I will definitely win!

Hi again! This chapter is done! I love how Erza is also so protective of her friends, so I added that into the story! Yay! Last week of school!

Finally! Zera is back in the manga! Yay! And Gajeel is alive! More Gale moments for everyone!

So in this story, Erza, Jellal, Mira, Laxus, Minerva, Gildarts, Kagura and Jura are s-class. So the first level is apprentice, like Wendy and Cheila, then a knight, like Natsu and Gray, and then the highest level S-class, so Jellal and Erza.

P.s. Erza and Laxus are generals.
