the sacred island(part 3)

Erza's POV

"I am here!" There was a distance yell over my shoulder, and when seeing who it was I just shook my head.

"I am your second examinator, Evergreen the beautiful!" Evergreen said as usual twirling around, waving her fan like crazy. Walking up to her, she stared at me.

"Ever, focus on the exam." I said to her.

"Well, well, if it is Erza." She said. " The last time I saw you, you fell in the mud." Snickering, she waved her fan in my face. How dare she insult me!

"Shut. Up." I said one word at a time, cause Natsu and Gray to clung onto each other, and everyone else to shudder.

"Hmph! Whate-" She said before I crashed her head into the ground.

"Uh." Evergreen groaned while Elfman helped her get up.

"I'll get you Erza." She muttered, but I heard it.

"In this second exam, you will be facing off against a s-class knight who we will randomly choose." Evergreen said.

"If you win, you will move on to the next round." She said while taking out a box.

"In this box are seven symbols. Six are swords, and the last one is a dove. If you get the dove, you will pass on to the next round automatically. This tests your individual strength, luck, and smarts." After she finished saying that, all the competitors froze.

"Ready?" She said.

"Okay then. First up is Natsu Dragneel!" Evergreen said. Before anyone can answer her. Reaching in, I saw he got a sword. But unlike an normal person, he cheered loudly.

"Yes! Now I can beat Erza!" He said while Lucy was anything him that he would lose. And he would lose against me. He does every time

"Next is Gajeel Redfox!" Evergreen said. After reaching in, we saw that he got the dove.

"Yay!" Levy said. But Gajeel's reaction was different.

"What!? I wanted to beat someone up!" Gajeel said whining like a baby.

"Gajeel! Be happy!" Levy said using her bag to hit Gajeel.

"Ow! Shrimp, your bag hurts!" He complained.

"I am not a shrimp!" Levy said walking away. Evergreen snickered before continuing.

"Ultear Milkovioch."

"Meredy Milkovioch." Both of them got swords.

"Next is Lyon Vastia!" Evergreen said. As Lyon reached in the box, he pulled out a sword and walked away without saying anything.

"Okay. Next is Rogue Cheney!" She said. Like Lyon, he just reached in, grabbed a sword, and walked away without saying anything.

"Lastly, is Gray Fullbuster!" Evergreen said. It seems everyone got a sword, except for Gajeel.

"Everyone, meet me at the arena on the west side of the island for the one-on-one battles.

"Come on Erza, let's go. Jellal said not to go full out." Kagura said to me as I nodded.

*Timeskip*

"Natsu Dragneel is up first." As Natsu entered the arena, Master stood up.

"Your opponent will be..." as he said that, I realized that none of the s-class have been informed who is going to battle. I guess we have to be ready at all times.

"Jura!" He said.

"My turn! Yay!" I'm turn around and see Natsu happily prancing around.

"Good luck Natsu." I said.

"I'm fired up!" She said. As she reached the arena, the bell rang, and both of them ran forward at each other. Natsu, using his sword, tried to attack Jura, who swifty dodged it. This pattern went on for a while, but then Natsu got another idea.

"Yah!" He screamed as he charged at Jura. Going straight for him, he charged. But then suddenly stopped.

"Huh?" Jura asked. Suddenly Natsu appeared right under him ,and punched him square in the jaw.

"You win." Jura said.

"Wait what?" Natsu asked confused.

"We were told to take it easy on you guys." Jura replied.

"I don't care! I can beat you fair and square!" Natsu said.

"Too bad, so sad. The winner is Natsu Dragneel!" Evergreen said. Lucy, being herself, cheered as loud as she can.

"Go Natsu!" Lucy shouted.

"Thanks!" Natsu said back to her. I have to say, they are such a cute couple.

"People, moving on now!" Evergreen said waving at everyone.

"The next battle is Lyon Vastia! Since Gajeel got the dove symbol." Evergreen said. Lyon walked into the arena, without any expression. Meredy suddenly piped up.

"Go Lyon! You can do this!" Meredy said before bringing out a poster. This, caused Lyon to blush.

"You opponent is...Laxus Dreyar!" Markarov said. Jellal, being Laxus's adoptive cousin, cheered him on. The battle ended way too quickly. Right when the bell rang, Laxus ran forward and knocked Lyon unconscious.

"And.. the winner is Laxus Dreyar!" Markarov said surprised at how fast it ended. I on the other hand, already could tell Laxus would win.

"Next is Rogue Cheney!" Markarov said.

"Your opponent will be...Kagura Mikazuchi!" He said. That is not good. Rogue, seemed shocked for a moment before calling down.

"Begin!" The bell rang, and they b other charged. Both of them are moving swiftly, dodging each other's sword.

It's been 26 minutes now, and both of them are still battling.

"Let's finish this." Kagura said. Taking off her jacket, she got in a ready stance. But before she can say anything else, Rogue looked at her and passed out.

"Rogue! Are you okay?" Kagura said. Rogue was on the floor, with a huge nosebleed.

"S-soft..." he whispered. Kagura, finally figured it it out, shouted.

"Pervert!" She was about to hit him when Evergreen came.

*Timeskip*

"Meredy lost to Minerva, and somehow, Ultear won against Jellal. Had something to do with a thing called Jerza. Elfman also won against Mira, something about getting married to Ever.

"Let's continue to the last round for the second exam." She said.

" Gray Fullbuster! Your opponent is..." she started as Gray walked into the arena.

"Erza Scarlet!"

Yay! School is Finished! I added a small Nalu and Gale moment to add a bit for all those Gale and Nalu lovers, including myself.

Now that Evergreen is here, there will be more Elfgreen moments!
