the beginning(part 3)

No one's POV

Erza woke up to the sound of birds chirping.  On her way to the dining room, she !et up with Meredy and Ultear.

"Good morning Erza. How are you?" Meredy asked.

"Quite good. You?" Erza replied.

"Wonderful." She said with a big goofy grin.

"She's thinking of Lyon." Ultear whispered to Erza as they both nodded.

When they arrived, they were greeted by Natsu, Laxus, Gajeel, Levy and Lucy. Or more like Laxus eating, Gajeel and Natsu having a verbal argument, and Lucy and Levy eating while talking.

"Erza! Good morning!" Lucy said.

"Hello Lucy. Hello everyone. Ready for the exam?" Erza asked. Lucy, Levy, and all the other nurses are coming to help in the exams.

"Yeah! Like children!" Natsu smiled. He was left out of the hospital yesterday thanks to Lucy. All of them for to leave the hospital.

"What for breakfast? " Ultear asked.

" Pancakes topped with whipped cream and strawberries. The usual." She said cheerfully.

After eating, we were just about to leave, when Jellal came.

" Guys come on. You need to help set up the ball." He said. Before we leave for the exam in 2 days, we are having a ball welcoming everyone to the exam.

"Got it." We all said.

"Got it prince wannabe!" Erza said smirking.

" Whatever Erzy." He said while pouting.

" Did. You. Just. Call. Her. Erzy!?" Meredy asked.

"Yay! Jerza has begun!" Ultear and Mirajane said while high fiving. Erza just ignored the comments. Jellal on the other hand, blushed so red it probably surpassed Erza's hair color.

"Come on girls, all the others are already in the changing room getting ready!" Juvia said coming in, causing an uproar with Lucy and Levy. The girls all decided to have a party getting ready for the ball together.

"There is still 8 hours till the ball. Why are getting treaty so early?" Natsu asked with a mouth full of pancakes.

"*Sigh*. Boys will never understand." Levy said before we all rushed off the the changing room.

*Timeskip*

Erza's POV

"Now, are we ready?" Mirajane asked.

"Yes!" We cheered and headed downstairs.

Jellal's POV

"Come on bro, that's crazy!". Natsu said to me. He's been talking about nonsense for so long I form even understand what the topic is about anymore.

"Let the party begin!" As the double doors opened, the girls finally came in. A room full of guys in suits is not entertaining.

"Hey Jellal." Erza said as she tapped my shoulder.

"H-hey Erza. You look really, really beautiful." I said trying to stop the blood from rushing to my face. Be cool.

"Thanks." she said. Okay. Now or never

"So, do you want to dance? I mean you don't have to, cause-" I began to asked before she grabbed my hand.

"Sure." She said as she dragged me onto the dance floor.

*Elsewhere*

No one's POV

Natsu and Sting are sitting by their table, stuffing themselves in a eating competition.

"I'm winning!" Natsu said.

"No! I'm gonna win!" Sting replied.

"Hey guys, wanna dance?" Lucy said as she and Yukino walked up to the two knight eating.

"After we finish this! I need to win!" Sting said.

"Yeah! I'm fired up!" Natsu said grabbing another chicken leg.

"No, you two will dance. Now, you hear?" Mirajane came up to them and smiled a devilish smile that could scared years worth of life out of the two boys.

"Yes m'am!" They said before running to the dance floor.

"They forgot about us." Lucy said face-palming.

"It's okay. Let's go find Rogue-san and Minerva-san." Yukino agreed with her. Walking over to the drink bar, they saw a drunk Rogue and Ultear hugging each other with a sober Minerva and Kagura.

"Bahaha! Kagura, when did you change your hairstyle?" Rogue asked laughing as he hugged Ultear.

"Haha! Hey Gray, when are you gonna marry Juvia? Haha!" Ultear said causing them to look at each other funny.

"They realized that they are hugging the wrong person." Yukino said.

"Bauhahaha!" They laughed again.

"Nope. Still drunk."

*Back to Erza*

Erza's POV

"Ah, what wonderful parfum!" Shivers went up my spine as I turn around and come to face Ichiya.

"Get away from me!" I literally screamed. Of course, being the stupid idiot he is, he ignored my demand and continued talking. This continued for some time, until suddenly, he was yanked away from me.

"If she said to stay away, then stay away or I will kill you. Got it?" I turn around and I see Jellal talking to Ichiya with a murderous look in his eyes. "I said got it?" He asked again.

"Y-yes sir!" Ichiya stuttered before sprinted across the room.

"Thanks. Why is he here anyways? He should be miles away. And I mean miles." I said.

"No problem Erza. Any gentlemen would do that." He replied smoothly.

"Well, your kingdom sure lacks gentlemen. They should learn from you." I said.

"It's fine. Besides, you save me all the time. If it weren't for you, I would be dead. You really are fit to be called queen of the fairies." He said not realizing what he intended. Me on the other hand, blushed at his comment. As he looked at me, he started blushing too. Not realizing that we were staring at each other until Mirajane came.

"Hey lovebirds, stop staring at each other and enjoy the party!" Mirajane said.

"Mira, are you drunk?" I asked cautiously.

" Nope just excited!" She replied.

" Join me on the dance floor. Come on!" She said while dragging me their info a group of girls. I looked around and saw Lucy, Levy, Minerva, and Juvia there too.

"Are you drunk Minerva?" I asked.

"Nope, sober." She replied.

*Timeskip*

Wow! Dancing for 2 hours straight was not a good idea. As I was about to sit down , I heard a loud ear-piercing scream. Then a crash. Fog entered the room. Almost immediately, I rushed beside Jellal, getting in a fighting stance.

When the fog disappeared, the sight was not pretty.

Man, that took a long time. So to clear his up, in this story, the s-class exam happens once a year, and it's for all countries. In here, Erza was the first female knight, so that is why there are more males than female, because they only recently let females be knight.

Also, in my story, Erza and Jellal are the same age as everyone else.
